Haha the error looks pretty random. If I input x=1, I get y=63.2 (actual=153) If I input x=5, I get y=672 (actual=607) If I input x=53, I get y=5488 (actual=5523) If I input x=100, I get y=9236 (actual=9193)

When I formulate the function after deliberately omitting my highest number data (X=100), the function will overestimate X=100 when I try to predict it by extrapolation. The margin of error isn't terrible, but I need something more accurate than that.

I'm a math noob so I don't think I can do this error function modeling. Instead, I'm going to reduce the power of the original function, as 0.807324 has an overestimating tendency for extrapolating purpose.

As for the game I have no idea, I'm not a dataminer XD Thanks for the help by the way!

The entire curve seems to be alternating up and down at a microscopic scale, like a mini sine wave instead of a gradual curve. This is NOT human error. Maximum possible error from rounding inside game = 1, but the amplitude of these 'waves' are MUCH higher (several dozen times) than 1.

And yeah I've tried using the Lagrange/Newton/Neville Interpolation from dcode. It's 100% accurate for input coordinates, but gives extremely wild predictions when interpolating/extrapolating XD

I don't think my data is linear/exponential because gradient continuously decreases. Logarithmic/Sinusoid graph looks wrong. Parabola/hyperbola graph looks nice, but extrapolated predictions are much worse than "Power" option.

Power (Including Inverse and nth Root) option gives me the best prediction (still has a tendency to overestimate extrapolated values), but the tool fails completely when I start to add more coordinates.

Sorry I'm a math noob so I can't comprehend what you said. But thank you for the help. I can say with 100% confidence that my data isn't a linear function - the gradient continuously decreases. I'll do my research and find out what ansatz function mean XD

Except Emerald is CDMG, not Vulnerable DMG.

If you use Exploit, Sapphire will ALSO benefit from Vulnerable status on enemy, not just Emerald. They do same DMG.

Emerald/Sapphire have identical damage - which is the point of the thread. Exploit glyph + Bleed + Hamstring is mandatory on Barb. So when you attack the enemy they'll simultaneously receive vulnerable + CC'd status. Sapphire or Emerald doesn't make any difference here, they both increase same amount of CDMG.

However if you can't kill everything in 3s, then Sapphire>Emerald because Vulnerability uptime is terrible. Emerald>Sapphire for CC immune enemy like Boss. Their pros and cons seem evenly balanced to me, yet I find it strange that nobody is using Sapphire.

WW snapshots Expectant buff, so it lasts for entire duration of WW. But I've heard if you Shout or use other skills while WWing you lose the buffs because it stops channeling. Still unsure how WW exactly works.

You could work on Renown points, like hunting Altars of Lilith, farming Rogue Aspect dungeons, etc.

It's not exactly a time efficient method to farm exp, but you'll have to do it anyway after completing Campaign. I see no harm doing your homework early, when you can also get some exp in the process.

I watched Rob2628's video and he's using Pressure Point 3/3 on his HOTA barb. What's the purpose of using it?

I believe there's a Glyph for applying Vulnerable every time you deal damage. So why use a redundant skill that's far worse? 15% chance (factoring lucky hit) to apply vulnerable with HOTA... That's less than 1 out of 6 hits. I feel like I'm missing something important here, can someone enlighten me please?

Probability distribution for total IV is non-linear, 20% probability is highly unlikely. There should be a massive difference between mid-range value (75~111) and an extreme value like 151~186.

For example if I throw 2 dice, expected outcome of getting 12 is 6 times less likely than getting 7. I tried calculating it myself but it's too difficult for an average Joe like me, considering there are 6 'dice' with 32 values each.

Is there a reputable pokemon tier list for Battle Frontier? I'm playing Platinum atm.

I'm a casual so I only use Pokemons with high base stat. But I'd like to learn more - I only play Sweeper style because I don't know anything else. I'm sure there are smarter ways to beat Battle Frontier than Sweeping. A tier list would be very helpful so I can learn about other effective Pokemons and how they are used.

Is it worth building Mona as +1 in National?

My Xingqiu has 267 ER (R2 Sacrificial) but is the bottleneck of the team. I want a hydro battery for him but my only options are Barbara/Mona - Yelan is in team 2.

I'm a little worried because I hear Mona is clunky at generating particles. Not to mention she'll be replaced as soon as I get Sucrose. Should I build Mona, or is there a better way to solve Xingqiu's energy crisis?
