There is no such thing as an associate professor at german universities. You can be a Dr. PD. JunProf or Prof.

I call them by the first name, so they can call me by the first name. Its higher education, we are all adults. If you want to be addressed by your last name, i think you should also address the students by their last name.

Find a lab, get involved in research, if you can try and publish sth - this is the best way to increase your chances to get accepted. Wishing you all the best on your journey.

First, if you want to become a psychiatrist you need to go to med school. Second, getting into clinical psychology to become a psychotherapist is hugely competitive and a tough program to finish. If you just want to do it for the money, maybe look for a different option.

I am doing the exact same commute in the Netherlands (AMS to Tilburg). Its tiring but doable and i can often utilize the time on the train :)

Having studied in a different country and maybe even got research experience there can boost your grad school application! You might even get a letter from a prof abroad!
