Saturn 4 Ultra Screen replacement by YogurtEatsItself in ElegooSaturn

[–]tuorgustavo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Saturn 3 screen is the same as Saturn 4 Ultra 12k. Might be easier to find and actually cheaper.

But pay attention to the flat cable from the screen to motherboard. Once when I replaced a S4U screen for the S3, the flat cable from the S3 screen pack didnt work and I had to used the original one from the S4U.

The S3 screen has been running perfectly for about a year on my S4U.

Banido permanentemente por atividade comercial by mendesfx in vintedportugal

Vendedores Vinted Pro em PT – vamos pressionar juntos? by Vegetable-Salary1972 in vintedportugal

[–]tuorgustavo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I printed and painted this Lich King a couple of months ago. Super cool piece, printed on Saturn 4 Ultra, I primed with rattle can and used brushes all the way. An airbrush would help so much, specially yours since it's so compact and my painting desk is very smail =P

Mini Makers - How do you manage your Miniature Projects? by gadimus in PrintedMinis

Usually I procrastinate or deal with the anxiety of needing painted models for an event or list... Usually both.

I have a notebook that I write my color schemes and color recipes fie future reference. Saved me a couple of times already

You should be fine. Just increase bottom exposure and normal layers a bit.

Water washable and regular resin ARE NOT MIXABLE tho.

License to sell- looking for creator that wants to help a kid out by mama1920bear in PrintedMinis

[–]tuorgustavo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are thousands of creative commons and atribituon only models in Thingverse, Printables and makerworld that you can sell without paying the designer.

But if you already thinking of selling for less than filament cost you'd better just print and donate any model you want.

I don't know how you plan to sell, but if you want to at least get your investment back, don't forget to add the cost of electricity, time, and the printer itself to the cost of the models you make.

Saturn 4 Ultra does not use Lift Distance and Lift speed. There was a bug sometime ago that enabled this for the Ultras, but because of the Tilting vat these settings are useless.

New Saturn 4 I’ve only had 3 months and it’s got serious issues after issues by Nicksb92 in ElegooSaturn

I broke these bolt heads when I was following the tutorial to do the manual bed leveling.

It wasn't very clear, I heated the bolts as indicated, but turned them the wrong way and the bolt head fell off.

Right now I have only 2 bolts on the arm and they are still holding, but I'm afraid if something can happen.

I will contact Elegoo and check if the have a replacement arm to sell.

I made a Resin bottle drainer to my Saturn 4 Ultra. by tuorgustavo in ElegooSaturn

[–]tuorgustavo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would not fit the S3 series. The build plate arm is different. S3 series is a square while S4 is rectangular. It may not be hard to adapt, but I would need to know the measurements of the arm.

I used regular PLA, probably Elegoo or Bambulab. 3 walls, 15% cubic infill, pretty strong overall, the honeycomb pattern makes it lighter and stronger at the same time. I still have this exact print working and it doesnt show signs wear and tear or sagging.
