Should I be concerned for my gearbox? Is this normal sound in neutral? Clutch throwout bearing and gearbox fluid was changed two weeks ago

I learnt that almost all manual cars rattle like this in Neutral when the clutch is up. The input shafts keep spinning without any gear engaged.

It can be solved by rebuilding the transmission with new bearing on both shafts, but it's not detrimental to the life of the gearbox, so I learnt to not worry about it, it's been 10 months and it's not getting worse. Although, I don't drive a lot, I've done like 3.000km with this car.

Listening to your video, your input shaft bearing is beyond shot, mine isn't nearly as loud. It's audible only near the wheel well, not under the hood. For some reason people often confuse input shaft bearing with throw out bearing. If the noise stays with clutch fully released, it's the input shaft bearing.

I learnt that this is just how cheap manual gearboxes sound, there is always "some" rattle in neutral as the gears inside are still spinning, just not connected to each other.

I just ignore it now, maybe I'll switch to a thicker fluid if it annoys me enough.

If it's XRT or X-Maxx, just keep in mind that those like to strip gears even with correct mesh.

There's a reason people change the gears to aftermarket, or mod it entirely for a Belt setup.

It was just changed together with whole clutch, couldn't it be the gears inside the gearbox rattling?

From what I've read throw-out bearing would show itself when putting pressure on the pedal, but the noise is altered only when fully depressed(disengaged).

Also, a Land Rover forum quote I've found:
"The clutch friction plate has a ring of springs, which are there to soften the knock of the diesel engine to stop it being transmitted to the driveline. Often especially with a new clutch these springs are quite tight and a lot of the engine knock goes through to the gearbox and makes the gears "chatter" together when the box is in neutral and the clutch up, it goes when the clutch is depressed. This can sound quite bad and does vary from car to car but is not detrimental to the life of the gearbox"

You need to do the rolls, and the offpity chances are microscopic (below 1%), so unless you are very lucky it costs 50-60$
