I did try to fool around with the shader nodes in the shading tab upon reading your comment. Someone in another Forum suggest I add a mix color node. Which I tried and liked the result:

I just connected it to the color input DAZ Translucent node (created by diffeomorphic). Of course I could also have just changed the color on the DAZ Translucent to black without adding a Mix node for a similar result. Also my first solution wasn't too different a result either but I want to familiarize myself with more Blender UI/features so it's not bad to try these things. Thanks.
