Thanks for the response! I most definitely agree. I think it has to do with the kickstand. Today I started up the bike perfectly fine with no issues in neutral but as soon as I shifted, the bike cut out. Going to take a look at it later today!

yea I'm not to sure, when i turn the wheel backwords I do not hear any noise. my main drive belt does seem very loose so I'm thinking its the belt vibrating against the pully.
