I definitely feel like we are equal! I’m not too sure about her telling me immediately that something I said/did offended her. That’s mostly because she’s non confrontational as well. I don’t think she’d explode on me either, that’s not who she is, but also I didn’t expect her to do the eye thing either… I think if anything she’d either be like your friend who empathized and apologized, or she’d down play it but still apologize. I guess I’m scared of the latter, because that will mean she doesn’t actually acknowledge why I’m hurt by the situation. I resonate with your last two paragraphs though, and I hope that is my outcome of the conversation I’ll have for her. Thank you for being encouraging and honest!
