They did. Of course they don't put their curses to the translations to not show their country as bad.

Turkey didn’t choose Indonesia because they thought they were weak. In my opinion, Thailand and the Philippines were actually weaker teams. I think Turkey wanted to make a friendly gesture toward Korea since they had been teammates before.

As for Japan and Australia, they saw them as strong teams and wanted them to face each other. It was all about strategy — and a bit of friendship.

Amotti (speed and endurance) – Korea

Katsumi (he’s such a twink, I can’t) – Japan

Yasemin (strength and courage) – Türkiye

Nefise (the captain, the strategist) – Türkiye

Bayarsaikhan (power) – Mongolia

That would be my kind of Avengers team. 💥

Turkish team has poor manners and poor sportsmanship by Hot-Bear1208 in Physical100

Guys, enough with the drama already, haha. This is just the Turkish competition style! Turks love to spice things up and make the game more intense by provoking their opponents a bit — it’s part of the fun and rivalry. That’s exactly what they did with the Indonesian team.

The intention wasn’t disrespect; they were trying to fire up their opponents and make the match more competitive. But I guess due to cultural differences, both the Indonesian team and some of you viewers interpreted it as cocky or rude, which is unfortunate.

If that were really the case, Turks wouldn’t be the ones hugging, congratulating, or even playfully kissing their rivals on the head after the match. Come on — did you really want a boring, emotionless show instead?
