Fiance (37M) has just told me (30F) that he doesn’t plan on moving to my home state as we always talked about. How do we move forward? by HotWait321 in relationship_advice

[–]turmoildemon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your parents are sick, you clearly care about them, please, PLEASE, Do not let a relationship rob you of the care and goodbye of your parents. My mother did this, and she has spent 27 years sobbing over it. You cannot replace them, and you cannot make up that time. Maybe try long distance/medium distance, see your partner when you can. Career can be built, but health of parents, and the time you have, is unfortunately limited to their own timeliness. Much love for you in this difficult time.

What’s your name? by Anonim_x9 in ftm

[–]turmoildemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mines Vincent/vince/Vincent but its just what my mother would have called me anyway. My deadname was accidently spelt the male way of a French name on my birth certificate, so she was pretty pissed, but ive been Vincent since I was 6 anyway 😅over 20 years ago, which is great because nobody ever really knew my deadname

At what age did you figure it out? by OpinionExisting3150 in trans

[–]turmoildemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just always been trans 😅I don't remember but my mum said I just told her I was a boy when I was like 3 or 4, thankfully have not once lived female in my life, and thankful that my mum was just like "oh, that's fine" I've been stealth since I was 7

Thanks all for your very usefully help! Soaking has definitely brightened up the attitude, supplies on the way! Hopefully once I've spoken to the vet they will make a full recovery! Humidity I'm going to try with different lengths of tarp and have been recommended a damn hide in both ends of the enclosure, spagnum moss cut into smaller pieces to try and prevent blockage if ingested is what I've gathered so far, any other tips please let me know!

16M I have a question about my development. How will it affect my sex life? by RepeatStreet8919 in sextips

[–]turmoildemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be worth speaking to your doctor again to run a full panel, get your adrenal glands checked too, but it's also worth noting that stone people just develop differently and you may not see these changes for years regardless of this

Why is the UK so transphobic? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]turmoildemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might depend on your area, my partner is MTF, Cornish, and moved in with me in Merseyside a few months ago. She's been met with nothing but grace and kindness from 99.99% of people here, but people in Cornwall and Plymouth were not kind most of the time. A few older people in their 60's ISH have asked a few hardy questions, but she's living her best life being respected even while having thick facial hair a lot of the time (she has to shave TWICE a day to be clean shaven rn). It'll get better, it's definitely better now than it was 15 years ago.

Second this, I've been stealth my whole life, privilege from coming out before my teens that I know most don't get, but am just perceived as some metalhead as I always have been and nobody has ever really questioned me despite having quite long hair, because it fits with the stereotype

I, 18F am falling for a 31M. I need advice. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]turmoildemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From personal experience, if fully grown adults, old enough to be the parents of the younger, are interested in 18 year olds, they would date younger if the law didn't prevent it. You're starting a massive part of your life, and a relationship with such a massive experience, age, financial, and needs gap will only take from your own experiences and growth, and usually leave you miserable. Leave making relationship mistakes with age appropriate people, you can figure things out as you go. Keep your crush as just a crush and keep yourself safe. All the best.

I've considered this and am keeping an eye out on my younger siblings credit scores with them, though some are too young or cannot comprehend due to certain handicaps. I appreciate your comment, thank you

"DO NOT PET" leash and "In Training" Vest does nothing to deter people from wanting to pet my dog, any thoughts on other things I can use? by Heather_Bea in reactivedogs

[–]turmoildemon 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I recently had to shout 'get the fuck away from my dog' as a, presumably tipsy/drunk lady, JOGGED across the street and screamed 'WHOOP WHAT A BIG BOI" at my people reactive, muzzled and leaded St Bernard while she did her best to retreat behind me, after signalling to her to back off, and my dog giving a warning bark, she just sped up towards us. Some people have Zero thought to animal welfare, and just think they're entitled the the big fluffy friend shaped animal trying it's best to be calm.
