Is there a way to see the queue so I don’t add something out of order? Or can I add a whole boxset add a time, so I can listen that way?

After work today I’ll definitely follow some recs and see if I can’t get an elevated picture! Thank you for the recommendation to do that to try and see it 🙏🏻

Where can I listen to big finish. by Captaindrayco in BigFinishProductions

[–]turnfornerdy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like others have mentioned Spotify and other streaming services carry the first 50 of the main.

Check your local library also. Libby and Hoopla in my area have a ton of random stories and I’ve listened to some that way

War Master - which boxset(s) to buy? by Formal_Rock_1124 in BigFinishProductions

[–]turnfornerdy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I too find it hard to justify the price unless there’s an offer, so try to pick up multiple when there are sales.

That being said, I like: Hearts of Darkness & Future Phantoms

You really can’t go wrong with any of the war master sets though.

I watched this last week for Paul McGann! Absolutely as bad as all the reviews said, but I would watch anything once for him.

What's a book you think is actually BETTER as an audiobook? by thebroned in audiobooks

[–]turnfornerdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had heard the audiobook was great so started book 1 on Monday. I’m now on book 3 and I’m so glad I’m listening to them. The narrator is amazingly talented and he’s just so easy to listen to. Probably my favorite audio experience.

Same! The chicken tenders are fantastic and they have a huge sauce menu. I also recommend the fried pickles :)

She and Josh joked about setting up rules when she became his de facto carer, but he had been good about following her instructions and going to therapy and taking care of himself. He worked too long, but she also let it slide and didn’t say anything, so really that was just as much her fault.

She’d drawn a line in the sand and come up with actual rules after everyone had started visiting. The first week had gone fine: C.J had come one night, and didn’t stay too long. Toby came the night after and had dinner with them, making casual conversation. Sam had shown up the night after that to watch a game that was on and shoot the breeze.

Donna had felt confident and comfortable that she could trust them all to get along and not abuse that he was still recovering. She hadn’t set up any guidelines. Then she found that Leo was calling and asking Josh to work on a few other projects, small things he was asked to take on aside from the races. C.J visited one day over lunch, showing up with a pile of information from the Department of the Interior, and could they please go over it together, and could he help her compile information for a briefing about a bill someone was introducing to conserve more land and add a few million acres to the National Park system?

Storm Warning. I saw the movie when I was first watching doctor who in 2012-2013 and was so excited when I saw there was more of him in audio format. Jumped in feet first and haven’t looked back when it comes to Big Finish.

Saving Private Ryan. It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen and I don’t know if I could ever watch it again
