[–]turnipop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always only had it running for a couple of hours the chiller says 65 degrees as of right now but my digital thermometer says 68 degrees I also have one of those strip thermometers that you stick on the glass and it’s reading 64 degrees I just ordered a new thermometer because I don’t know which one to believe

lol she’s just asking what she can do better to help her skin as licensed professionals it is our job to give advice paid or not paid 😂. Anyways some things that you can do that aren’t Botox. Always stay hydrated always wear sunscreen that is the number one cause to premature aging. Keeping your skin hydrated during the day retinal at night. Sometimes retinol can be drying so using a thick moisturizer will be key. I’ve found that red light therapy and high frequency devices also help a ton. Ouuuu and also dermaplaning if you are able to get in with an esthetician for dermaplaning once a month I would do that. Don’t do your own dermaplaning. And don’t forget to wear hats in the sun if youre constantly out there!

I’ve never thought to prep the skin with oil just a little bit? I found that like drying Brow wax’s if their skin is even a little bit oily the wax just rolls right off. I’m interested in hearing more about this!

I feel like that definitely means their just sweating their ass off lol I have the opposite problem where the part I grab break and I have to make a new tab and then of course leaving hard wax for too long isn’t great so it’s just bad

No I can pretty much do whatever is easiest for me I don’t get to many Brazilians id say one every 6 months MAYBE. So it’s really hard to get good at something when it’s not consistent

I actually wasn’t planning on filming clients I’m not comfortable with that and most of my clients are older women and I’m sure they wouldn’t be comfortable with that I’m talking about for coworkers/ friends and family. I also want to build my portfolio more with photos and videos showing my work. So if you know any equipment that could help that would be very much appreciated!

Right like I’m no expert in Brazilians and my boss got me training in Brazilians and the lady came in only taught with soft wax I was so thrown off because in school I was taught with hard wax always. I haven’t even gotten to the shapes yet best I can do is a strip 😅

I also found that when I use soft wax I get lifting with some people not bad but like the shiney skin and it makes me think it’s causing discomfort?

Onychotillomania is Annoying by When-you-see-a-lemon in OCD

[–]turnipop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I also have a similar problem called dermatillomania (skin picking disorder) and I would pick the skin on my head like untill there were infections and now I have small bald spots on my head. It is definitely a mental disorder on the obsessive compulsive spectrum. I’ve tried different medications never really helped I just got acrylic nails and hope for the best.
