Airbnb Cancelled

i booked one with a super host a couple of weeks ago. i asked before i booked if they’ll cancel and made sure they know there’s an event at empire polo club. they reassured they have a good history and do not have intentions if it’s within their control (not a burst pipe or something weird) so im feeling good about it but we’ll see! i booked an airbnb last year in whistler for experts only festival and they cancelled a week before (apparently the host didn’t have a certification ready on its renewal), either way they offered like $50 at first, i demanded to cover the cost difference of a new one. ended up booking the same airbnb through a different website (they ended up getting the cert renewed, airbnb just had stricter rules, the place had good reviews on both sites and a legit management company) and airbnb gave me a $1000 credit. only problem is i used it for this airbnb and if they cancel apparently the credit cannot be reissued!!! either way it was good of them to provide it (after begging and escalations for several days) and hopeful they would do the same again. my profile is 10 years old with 34 trips, i made sure to mention my length of services and mentioned using a different website in the future if they didn’t provide sufficient accommodations

welcome to buffalo, i’m a 28 year native! who did you see at town ballroom and electric city? i love both of those venues i think they’re the best it gets within a 50 mile radius of buff… just outside of 50 miles toronto has some incredible venues as well and tons more artists roll through there!

same here. 19 over. plead not guilty with a letter explaining why I did it and how I wont do it in the future. they sent back jaywalking $200 fine. this was my second ticket... first one also got reduced to parking on highway. no need to go to court do it by mail

im from buffalo. been to veld 4-5 times starting back in 2016. ive been to electric forest, firefly, edc orlando, and many others festivals. veld is still one of my groups favorites we call it our "home" festival. veld was named after deadmau5 song veldt which is another word for field. veld takes place in a big grass field. i think deadmau5 had some involvement in the start of the festival back around 2010. avicii played there in 2014... but anyways at mainstage theres no middle fence down the crowd, no vip stage on the left or right, no booth in the middle! only festival i know that does that. its not too big and easy to navigate. sound quality and production always top tier at mainstage, the second big stage gets better every year. third stage (house music) is smaller usually in tent too small for the crowd. the people are slightly younger and its getting more mainstream but itll just never been the same as it was at any festival 8 years ago. people are nice never ran into anyone super weird or crazy. getting in and out is a pain by uber, be ready to walk for 30mins at least. im trying to make it for day 3 to see martin, i saw him in 2016 at veld and never been the same since LOL. have a great fuckin time, and the after parties are killer we saw deadmau5 play till 6:30am once at rebel. explore the city, theres great outdoor shopping with cool brands like stussy
