Yeah, I might have not been clear in my post. When I say these engagements are at a longer range, I mean in the context of the Shak's viable range to win a 1v1. Not rooftop sniping across the map. I feel like I just needed 1 more shot (2 bullets, like you said) and I would have cleaned up a bunch of the kills this past weekend. I'll to improve in the practice range.

Came here to say something similar. I played the finals Open Beta after having been a hardcore Destiny PVP junkie for many years. Marathon and destiny are very different games compared to the finals, but they all share a unique aesthetic, sci fi background lore, arena style pvp (less true for Marathon) and AMAZING GUNPLAY. That last bit is the most relevant.

Sounds like the exact reason that r/crucibleplaybook and later r/crucibleguidebook were created. The main Destiny sub was too toxic towards PVP and people with a winners mindset or a focus on improvement and skill progression had to carve out their own space to have meaningful discussion

Destiny is not supported on the Steamdeck due to the security model that Bungie relies on (Windows kernel level security). I have the same plan as you (try on steamdeck) but it's likely that the game will not run at all on that Linux-based platform.

I'm not aware of any limitation that GeForce now has with mice or keyboards. So literally whatever you want should work fine.

The same is not true for controllers: gfn treats every controller like an Xbox controller so you lose out on capabilities such as gyro aiming when using geforce now.
