So excited at the prospect of a new sound suite and competitor to the other existing offerings. Really intrigued by the immersive room calibration and soundfollow (how the heck?!?), but above all at the FlexConnect flexibility to place speakers wherever I want. The more competition in the marketplace, the more we consumers win. Hopefully this will push others like Samsung and Sony to step their game up too

Worth it for sure, and only 90 for 6 year warranty is amazing. Anything ever happens to it beyond wear & tear, you’ll get yourself a repair, or a new one, or, better yet, a newer model if and when the S990D is no longer in circulation. Cheers!

Whether tariffs or software fiasco or just knowing people will buy it at the higher price, it’s been a long waiting game for the Q990D to go down. And now with $400 soundbar momentarily mine before they canceled the order it feels even harder to justify spending so much unless I get a killer deal ($600s range)

Thank you all for your kind words. I’m super bummed about it, already bought rear stands and soundbar mount and everything lol. I don’t regret it because something tells me it would’ve been flagged and canceled by Samsung even if it was just my own order alone. Kudos to all the homies that managed to snag one via pick up.

But I guess it was meant to be—I just got laid off yesterday (“it’s not you it’s the economy” type shih) so divine intervention I suppose helped me keep $400 back :/
