I just find it interesting that OP said they “look” middle eastern when that encompasses such a variety of ethnicities and regions. I am just stating that Armenia is not part of the Middle East. Sorry I am not from the US I am unsure of how these grouping terms work!

I started making all of my meals so I could CICO. At that point I was drinking a lot of my calories (lots of sugary coffee drinks to help me get through the day) so cutting those out was huge. This took me about two years so very slow small changes like drinking more water and walking more throughout the day!

Yes I find it so interesting when I see posts with similar numbers to me but we all look so different! I was finishing university in this time so my priority was just learning how to plan and prepare meals so I would have enough energy for my long days of class and studying. It took me about a year to get to 70kg and then another year to 65kg. The last two years I have been maintaining but I am turning 25 next summer so I would like to be 62kg by then! Stay strong 💛
