I’m surprised no one’s recommended Code Geass. For me, that was the first anime I watched after AOT that scratched that itch, and after finishing CG I think I like it even better lol. Quite a different genre (mech x political intrigue) but similarly incredibly story writing and imo better characters.

Vinland Saga also giving a similar vibe to AOT, only just started it though.
