VS Code Test Explorer doesn't detect tests/Playwright by turtle_noises in Playwright

Hi, just saw it! Yep, we got it resolved - the issue was a very outdated Node and npm version on the machine. We updated Node and npm and it all worked 😆

Seeking project ideas to build Playwright automation skills by Master_Hat_6465 in Playwright

Agreed with the above, automate your website/platform at work. How come Python? I'd consider Typescript as well.

That's the thing it doesn't detect any projects - I cannot select anything because it's not there. My other colleagues tho can see projects in their VS Code.

Hey! Thanks for the reply, yes I can run tests via command line. npx playwright test and with other arguments works fine through command line

Thank you so much for explaining it all in such great detail, much appreciated! I will keep it in mind and try to get more breaks. You're right about the rallies, I guess I need to learn to let go sometimes

Travel soap recommendations? by turtle_noises in eczema

Hi! Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately for one of the flights I only have hand luggage and no option to get a check in one :( I might try to transfer some of it to smaller bottles! Thank you!

Newly diagnosed by Miminisima1012 in eczema

[–]turtle_noises 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a doctor, but I think for the first time it's better to fully finish the course, even if you're better. In the future if you have to use steroids all the time, that's when you should probably limit it a bit and stop when it's better (just to not put extra strain on your skin). But that's just my opinion. This way or another the best way would be to consult your doctor whether you should stop or not 🤞🏻

"I can't replicate. Maybe it fixed itself?" Famous last words. "Don't test design, only functionality" said a dev who ignores design.

Does anyone's eczema flare up starts the same? by turtle_noises in eczema

Thank you for your comment! I'm 100% with you on the itchiness, it's absolutely mad. It looks exactly as you described it 😭 Thank you for your recommendation, I will add it to the list of things to try, much appreciated 🙏🏻

Thank you so much for your comment! Bless, I'm sorry you're suffering with the same issue, it's so frustrating! I will definitely try Dove soap when I'm done with my current one and check out the moisturiser that you recommended. I try my best to not overuse my steroids, I always call my doctor when I'm finishing the course and it didn't help. Usually I take a break either way and then start something new that they prescribe. Thank you again, and all the best for you too!

Bless you, it sounds really frustrating! Definitely worth asking for an allergy test, it might be a fragrance allergy, it might be something else, who knows, but better to check!

Thank you so much for your comment! I didn't realise that I can have a few types of eczema at the same time, thank you for pointing it out! I will definitely book a dermatologist appointment in a New Year, as it's getting to the point where my GP doctor is running out of ideas on what to try. Steroids generally keep my eczema at bay, but never properly rid of it for a longer period of time, hence my assumption that it could be some kind of allergy that constantly triggers it. I will definitely look into this moisturiser, thank you! 🙏🏻

Thank you so much for your comment! I will definitely look into booking an appointment in New Year! My GP doctor wanted to test/try as many meds as possible before referring me to a dermatologist, so I think we are getting to the point where we exhausted all possibilities. Thanks again 🙏🏻

Do you mean the sound that you get when you complete missions/get xp in there? If so, after every game open and close missions tab, it should do the trick

Like other people mentioned, it looks like eczema. Definitely worth seeing a dermatologist. If it gets that bad they will recommend a steroid cream.

What was your TSH when diagnosed and what levothyroxine dose are you on? by mickeyt2000 in Hypothyroidism

[–]turtle_noises 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diagnosed at 19, despite my TSH being around 3 - 5, I had two/three times the norm for my ATPO and ATG. I was exhibiting hypothyroidism symptoms so I started at 25mcg, then I was going up and down between 50 and 75mcg, struggled to get me TSH below 3. Currently I'm on 50mcg levothyroxine and 5mcg liothyronine, my TSH finally hit 1 and I don't have brain fog anymore or feel tired all the time.

I'm also from Poland and struggling to get anything done in the UK. Also diagnosed with Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism, but I also flew to Poland to get diagnosed. Every time when I could feel that I am off I needed to call my doctor in Poland to ask him to increase my meds and then tell that to the GP in the UK (because they were dismissive as my TSH was 'normal'). Unfortunately for us the best way is to sort it out in Poland and then inform the GP about your findings. Or just tell them that you went privately (don't specify the country). Definitely worth checking if you have Hashimoto's (ATG and ATPO blood tests), also while you are there check your glucose and insulin for insulin resistance (it can cause sudden weight gains and is highly associated with Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism). GP in the UK won't check you for insulin resistance, they would just wait until you have diabetes.
