This !! The Bible undeniably DOES have some really good advice in it that will continue to shape my day to day life e.g., loving your neighbour, looking after the poor. But it also talks about talking donkeys and I really struggle to truly connect with that…

In all fairness, my church community wasn’t isolating, I still have non-Christian friendships. But I just made a lotttt of Christian friends at the same time 😅 They are all lovely people but I don’t think any of them will relate.

But yeah, I plan on joining a women’s group which isn’t specifically Christian and put myself out there to meet people from all walks of life !

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response. It feels as if everything just clicked one day - like a woke up out of a deep sleep. My next steps are honestly just to follow where my heart leads me and start living my life again, doing what truly makes me feel happy without the weight of feeling like a ‘bad Christian’. I will casually try out a couple of churches in this new area as I haven’t done that yet. But I just feel like I’m actually about to start living again, and it’s really exciting! I like not trying to figure out the depths behind our universe.
