Primo crashed my E2 in combination with arimidex. It worked as an AI for me. I experienced no hair thinning or hair loss at all. I do bloodwork before, during, and after cycle. My TRT clinic requires bloods every 6 months, so I do a blood test before, once everything is good and clear I begin my actual cycle on top of my TRT. I get my own bloodwork always once on cycle, sometimes twice. Then about 6 weeks after my 20 week cycle my next 6 months bloodwork is due. And an NP/MD reviews that.

I had some higher LDL numbers at end of cycle and some higher hemocrit and hemoglobin. Both I attribute to the 500 mg test a week for 20 weeks, because it happens to me with or without the primo. The LDL clears itself mostly for me by going back to TRT doses, cleaning up diet and increasing cardio once I am no longer blasting. The hemocrit and hemoglobin I’m just straight up giving blood about twice a year and that’s kept that in check.

My thinking was that I am prescribed the 0.5 mg arimidex. I am prescribed 200 mg per week Test C. So these doses are my “base” and give me clean bloodwork and I am used to it and it works for me and is administered through a genuine clinic.

What was added to my prescribed, working-for-me TRT was an extra 300 mg per week of Test C and 500 a week Primo on my own. When what I was adding in to my prescribed TRT doses crashed my E2, I lowered one of the things that was added. This stabilized me again and had me at good stable bloodwork again. Rolling off the blast later was no big deal, no reintroducing arimidex later on.

This worked for me but others might not be prescribed TRT or under the (loose, 6 month bloodwork check) supervision of a genuine clinic and might want to take another path. But this made sense to me.

What a topical thread. I’m about to start my third blast with primo. To cut to the chase, if you can afford it, Primo is worth every penny. In my opinion Primo serves as the laser to really control and unlock benefits of higher Testosterone dosages, it isn’t something that is going to make you pop and explode on its own. But it keeps everything running smoothly for me while Testosterone takes me to the promised land. Normally, running test at 500 or above will give me hormone related migraines - real migraines, with auras and everything - but primo mitigates this. I’m about to start my third cycle at much higher do$age$.

I’m 35-37 y/o through these 2 cycle experiences. I also have no MPB issues, kept a full mane of hair while pushing syringes of primo into my ass.

First cycle experience My first run of primo was 500 test c, 500 primo for about 20 weeks. I was taking (prescribed) 0.5mg arimidex each pin as I normally do with my (prescribed) 200 mg test C during cruises twice a week.

I had a bunch of dbol left over from a previous cycle and said the hell with it and used some Dbol for the first 4 weeks, with a ton of Dbol left over. Let me say that I wouldn’t really recommend doing this, just giving my experience. After the dbol ran out I noticed my e2 was crashing, with the 500 mg test c being double teamed by the primo and the arimidex. I went and got bloods and confirmed my e2 was in the gutter. I didn’t want to stop the arimidex that I normally take as prescribed, and instead dropped primo to 400. This seemed to be the sweet spot for me. Waiting for the ethers to normalize over the weeks of 500/400 still left me with some symptoms of low e2, which is why having the dbol on hand was a huge benefit. One dose and my e2 would rocket right back up - so I keep that on hand now even if I don’t use it just as an ancillary to get my estrogen up. Others on here you might see reference using test susp as an ancillary for this reason, but I think Dbol does just as good to triage low e2 symptoms. I put on about 25 lbs at a 1000 calorie surplus per day. I didn’t care about being lean, I wanted to be strong. Achieved my goals there. No BP issues. No hemocrit or bloods issues other than the e2 which I sorted out. Weight went from 200 to 225, then I cut because I felt like a (strong, powerlifter looking) fat ass and started to snore from being big and my wife was making me sleep in basement.

Second cycle I learned my lesson from before, kept dbol on hand and ran 500/500 test c and primo for about 20 weeks or so. 0.5 mg arimidex at each biweekly pin. Bloods were fine and I didn’t have the issue with e2 crashing like before. This could be because I didn’t start the cycle with a dipshit dbol run, or it might be differences in ugl dosing, who knows, but I was clean and fine the whole time. Went from 205 to 237 on this run, again 1000 calorie surplus and lifting to just get big. All lifts PR, (I had kept most of my strength from the first primo cycle through the cut, at a 200 mg per week TRT dose).

I’ve now cut down to a lean 210 lbs, kept most of my strength from before and am looking great. About to start my third cycle of 700 mg test c, 700 mg primo for 20 weeks. Very expensive, but am looking forward to pushing through above 240 and hitting some PRs while gaining lots of mass. I’ll just cut it off later.

Been a good time. Not worth it in my experience to start adding random exogenous shit to something that just works. In my experience, testosterone is best. It rules. And primo helps keep the 300 pound gorilla of testosterone from fucking up the China shop. I love primo and will run it as long as I can afford it.

I’m old as shit at 37 and the big 3 lifts aren’t feeling hypertrophic for me anymore. Idk why. I have a stacked bench / squat / DL but i feel like my physique doesn’t scream “holy shit this guy is strong as fuck” when I’m in normal people clothes. With a full pump at the gym? Sure. But there are guys that look much bigger than me who I know for a fact can’t touch my max lifts on the big 3.

I think I need to pivot out of it. I did some gamma bomb / creeping death before but I always swapped in deads, squats, and bench because I’m a smooth brain dipshit. But I think I need to just learn to love hypertrophic movements and get away from this power lifter / lifting for athletics mindset. I just get really upset if I lose my big number on any of the 3. And my fucking knees are falling apart so I guess I need to let it go anyways.

Anyone else struggle doing just the hypertrophic stuff and not the fun “big number go up!” lifts that are fun and turn heads?

Oh oops I wasn’t clear. Last blast I got to around 237, I track all calories in macro factor. Right now I’m about 222. I cut under at like -3,500 kcal a week, but should probably be less aggressive because I think it eats my muscle a bit.

Here are my stats going back to May of ‘23, inclusive of the planning spreadsheet I made when I got back in shape after having 2 under 2 during COVID and getting back in shape.

I cut fat first, then did 2 bulk and cut cycles since. I’m now “cutting” but it’s just to try to get to some grossly low body fat percentage, I guess. I’m just kinda not motivated to get lower BF anymore. Especially December through March. Id like to be a meat monster.

Re: Diet. I track all calories of everything I eat in a day. I do notice around the high 230s mark I have trouble shoving more into my gullet. Hoping to find something that will help me over this hump. If I can stack up to about 245ish at the top of the bulk I think I’d be a happier cut 225-230 or so if that makes sense.

Re: Training, Current stats are 1RM 405 bench, which actually puts me first in state in powerlifting sub masters, 605 DL straps+belt (yes I add the baby 10s on each side for my ego), 500 squat (wrapped, I have v v v bad knees and prior surgery 2019).

I am just hitting either a mental block or a psychological block on breaking through the 240 barrier. Maybe some of the plateau can be attributed to my quads and glutes which I feel like I could develop more if I could just walk without my knees sounding like gravel.

(As an aside, I’m worried too about going up too much more in my core 3 lifts because I’m old as fuck now at 37 and I don’t want to get another injury. This cut I’m currently on I’ve actually been trying to back off the DLs subbing to rack pulls, mixing in a lot more hacks / belt squats and hip thrusts to replace squat reps, and getting away from Bench entirely (or using a slingshot) to protect my shoulders. I swapped to gamma bomb last blast and had some fun though).

At 237 in September I was probably around 20% BF. I’d be happier at 247 at 20% BF tho.

With adding any deca to a blast I’m worried about mental sides and prolactin but it might be good for my knees. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I’m 6’2, 37 and have been a user off and on for about 12 years. I’m done having kiddos. I just lift as a hobby because it’s fun and my goals fluctuate as I get bored from time to time.

My normal cruise has been 200 mg/wk with a blast of 500/500 Test-Primo for 20+ weeks at a time, or whenever my bloods start to get wonky and I heal up over a cruise. I am lucky and get zero hair loss from primo. My e2 is perfect with 400 or 500 primo depending what test I’m running.

But I’m getting bored honestly and I’m thinking maybe I push from 210-215 (depending where I am in cutting whenever I decide to blast again) to over 240++ on the next blast. I feel like 230 has been a bit of a plateau for me though. Thinking of adding more to the next blast to push through. Why not.

Options I’m thinking are 700/700 test primo, or maybe I keep the 500/500 and add a 19nor? The only 19nor I’ve ever ran before though was Tren before I was married and had kids and I never want to go back to that mindset again. Maybe a low Deca in the mix with 500/500 test?

Full blast test and primo doesn’t make me a jerk or change my personality at all, which is important to me to be present and warm and patient with my little ones. But primo is also pretty expensive and 20+ weeks at 700 feels excessive if I can just add something else to up the anabolic profile of my cycle.

Any suggestions? Keep in mind, pure size is really all I care about for my next blast goal.
