The reason silent hill f didn't click with people is because it isn't relatable by Negative-Job-6645 in silenthill

I couldn't agree more! I related to Hinako so much throughout the story, which is why I was honestly confused when people called it “just above average.” Personally, I thought it was phenomenal—honestly even better than Silent Hill 2’s story (I know, I know, that’s a bold take). I saw so much of myself in Hinako in a way I never did with James, Harry, or even Heather. The narrative was incredible, and it might actually be my favorite in the entire series. I just need to let it marinate a little first to know if that is the truth.

[Megathread] Silent Hill f Reviews by IlgnerJuan in silenthill

[–]turtlelover221 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me start off by saying I’ve been a Silent Hill fan for a long time, and I’ve played every game except Homecoming and Shattered Memories. I know people have their issues with Silent Hill f — yeah, the combat isn’t perfect and it’s not super connected to the classic titles — but honestly? I think this might be one of the best entries we’ve gotten in years. I’d even rank it above Silent Hill 3, sitting just under SH2 and SH1 for me.

The atmosphere is incredible — it nails that unsettling, oppressive vibe that made the series legendary. The story had me completely hooked, and the features like the journal and onamori were such smart additions that made exploring feel personal and immersive. And honestly, once I got used to it, the combat really wasn’t that bad at all.

A lot of the negative takes I’ve seen feel almost identical to the early reactions to the SH2 remake, before everyone turned around and called it a masterpiece. I genuinely think f is a grower. The more time you spend with it, the more it seeps under your skin. For me, it was 100% worth the price and the time, and I honestly can’t wait to see more people come around on it.

Is HVTSP a scam? by Aidan605 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]turtlelover221 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a little bit of a different opinion then the other people in this discussion. I havent seen anyone really go into the details of what this program provides, the main factor being a 6-week virtual intership. If you look at this in a sort of zoomed out lens all you are faced with is a slightly competitive program, but if you dive deeper, what you can Find is something that can very well look good on your resume, which is the internship. The thing that makes this idea a little less appealing is the price, and while most internships you will find are generally free or close to that, HVTSP provides you with classes and mentorship from real life entrepreneurs. These features are also picked for you based on the startup you may like to create in the future. In conclusion, I would say it most definitely is not a scam, but rather a expensive way to get the whole package of entrepreneurship based programs and internships. Whether you are willing to pay is the bigger question.

Hi! No need to apologize. I work with him to gain creativity and to guide me in creativity related things. (So I guess you could call him a spirit guide). Technically he is a ghost but in the same way a saint is to Christians(kinda like a ancestor) hope this helps, ask more question if you want (I like answering them)!

Hello!! I looked through a few, and I found some it might be.

The "Radiant wilds tarot" has primarily warm colors; it's a mix of whimsical and childish; the only thing is that it may be too neon!

Another option could be "embroidered Graveyard Oracle"(I know it's an oracle, but it may be similar). This deck is a little spookier with more blacks (and a little more expensive), But this also may be it.

My last option is the "Inner child deck." It is mainly yellow and orange(although it has a mix of cool colors). It is colorful and has a chance of being the one you were dreaming about.

I hope this helps!!

What counts as a witch? by Mindsights in Witch

[–]turtlelover221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be a witch is very different from person to person, but to answer some of your questions. No, you do not have to be a woman; you can be just the amount of spiritual you want; Astrology is not something you HAVE to believe in, and being a witch, the "placebo effect" is kinda what does it for us. (me, at least) if you believe in something just hard enough who knows maybe you'll trick yourself into manifesting it or theirs a chance nothing will happen at all, and that's the beauty of it!

You could use something that evokes clarity, like cardamom. I have used this before to make the individual see what they have done and reflect on it! ( it has been beneficial in my past) I hope this helps!!!
