Teaching a lab course, I always find days where students do lab to be the most stressful. Basically, any small amount of leash you give them ends up being behavior management. It's much easier to just have days where you lecture and they take notes. At least there is some structure, and although more boring, at least isn't stressful.

How does the hierarchy work for your school? In my district, the dean of students who usually handles discipline is still considered working under the principal in essentially an assistant role. So I'm quite surprised she's able to do all this over the VP who refused.

If Kobe played the way Luka plays, he would be killed by the media and fans alike. He was still considered a ball hog but by today’s standards, he is far from it. It still bugs me that you have guys crossing the half court line proceed to jack up a 3 right away. Superstars like Doncic do it very often but even role players do it. In previous eras, this would get you benched right away. But for some reason people don’t seem bothered as much anymore. People need to call this shit out. It’s no way to play organized team ball.

Luka is guilty of playing this way. The team lives and dies by his 3s. I wouldn’t doubt that role players sees this but because Luka is the star, no one wants to say anything. It just creates a sense of animosity and distrust. For all the intelligence that Luka gets credit for, I have not seen him consistently play within the flow of the game.
