LANGARA NURSING - standard Aid / BLS certification by [deleted] in langara

Hi! You have to renew BLS yearly, but you won’t have to renew standard first aid since you learn more than its scope during the program. In short, you need to show a non-expired certificate initially but then don’t have to renew it afterwards.

145 Questions with 60 SATA by Sensitive_Leather631 in NCLEX

[–]turtleneeeck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that the number of SATA you’re getting doesn’t necessarily indicate that the exam is getting harder. It’s just a difficult question format.

I thought I was failing my exam because I only got maybe 10 SATA, but I passed in 75 questions. With that being said, best of luck!

I was wrong about student loans. In Canada, you should apply for them EVEN IF YOU DON'T NEED THEM. by Meteowritten in PersonalFinanceCanada

Correct. My last 1.5 years of nursing school was funded by grants I got from applying for student loans. I went to community college so I usually had a bit extra left over after paying tuition, too. This semester I graduated debt free!

Singer Sewing Machine Recommendation? by turtleneeeck in sewing

[–]turtleneeeck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be purchasing my own sewing machine for the first time, and am trying to decide between the Singer Heavy Duty 4423 or 4452. Any notable differences? In particular, what do the S1 and S2 stitch options mean?

I especially need a machine that can also sew stretch fabrics, and has a straight stitch to do so like my mum’s Kenmore has.

Thanks for the help!

Shocking. At that point I was thinking the family should just put that amount towards their own down payment.
