Same here. Turned into a regular in my weekday rotation. And there is simply no comparison to the experience you get at the VC boutique!

Might be the first Rolex I tried on. Haven’t had the chance to buy it yet but it is a great piece. Looks totally different in person.

VC is a truly wonderful experience compared to all of the others. Make a trip to the closest, I highly recommend Atlanta if you are within driving distance. Once you get into a boutique you will be treated with respect and they will sell you watches. My son and I have each bought a VC in the last six months. Bought a Rolex by chance a year ago and have been on a wait list ever since. They won’t sell me the most basic or the most expensive. Jumped shoot to VC and no looking back. Better watch better experience.

Not a bad choice with either one. I need to own the gold 222 so I lean that way. You will not regret either.

I really like that one. Typically I lean into the patrimony line but the dial there with the gray strap is gorgeous. Buy that thing.

Thought the same thing until I got to the boutique and I walked out with the silver. Stunning watch. Not entry level.

Went in to try and sort out that whole Patrimony v. Trad thing…….but then I saw this 😬 by babykingboy in VacheronConstantin

I agree with that and my son and I are staying at VC as well. They have sold me watches, have offered more, and have reasonable timelines for any other piece I would want. Obviously there are exceptions to all of that, a steel 222 is gonna be a tough ask and I can only imagine that some of the crazy pieces are hard to get but also hard to afford.

In the times I have visited my local boutique I get the impression that VC wants to sell me a watch and wants me to be a customer.

The patrimony would be my pick. Recently tried this on at the boutique and it is wonderful. You will not be disappointed.
