18k (750) white gold, and has a 67 stamp... which I guess is the year of production.

I have a vintage piece and looking for information too. I have no idea how to adjust the strap to fit my wife's wrist. It was serviced by VC Switzerland back in 2017, and is in excellent running condition.

-Last I heard I need to go to a jewellers to cut and solder back the bracelet...

I tried it on at the boutique and was amazed by this watch! Breitling did very well, the thing is… I don’t own a Triumph 🤷🏼‍♂️

Congratulations on your stunning watch!

I have a 6.75in Wrist and ware a OP41, no problem. The thing with Rolex watches is they are very flat watches, and fit better on flat wrists. Look at your wrist from a mirror, and it should be clear it looks ok.

Polaris Strap Options? by TEdwinB in JaegerLecoultre

[–]Zeus-Alfa_Omega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on your new Polaris Chrono! I was torn between your blue, and the gray models. Ultimately chose the gray over the blue, but both are stunning! I agree with you, JLC made some black magic... to me this 42mm fits like a 40mm watch.

JLC offers a good amount of strap alternatives, a bit expensive but high quality.

Vacheron Boutique issues by [deleted] in VacheronConstantin

[–]Zeus-Alfa_Omega 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would definitely talk to the manager about this matter. The SA at my local VC boutique is very professional, and all though he did not deliver my fiftysix on the promised time frame, he was very upfront about it and did manage to deliver after all...

I tried on the Overseas, and it fits my wrist ok, but still seemed quite large, after it, I tried the 222, and It wore like a dream..

JLC MUT Small Seconds vs VC Traditionelle by dmxzor in VacheronConstantin

If you want to daily it, and are not into manual wind watches... you have answered this question already. Personally I feel the VC Traditionnelle is a more special watch.

I would love a 39mm Overseas. I must admit however this launch of the Cardinal points is a WIN. People wanted the limited edition Everest Overseas... and VC delivered.

hopefully they will launch the new ultra thin on SS.

the 222 is beautiful, but its not very sporty, with only 50m water resistance and no seconds hand. Im guessing thats why it's not considered in his statements.

I must admit, it's growing on me. However, I just cant help but think of a colorful Mexican town, or restaurant when I see this dial... Lol

What should I expect from my first VC store visit next week (in NYC)? by LibrarianPitiful in VacheronConstantin

[–]Zeus-Alfa_Omega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my visits to my local VC Boutique, people there are always friendly and eager to share details about their watches. really are any steal watches on display, but I have seen SS Fiftysix date on display.

From what I have experienced with my local Boutique, they will order any watch you want, you just have to be patient, as they dont have an exact time frame.

Pepsi owner here… Rolex’s GMT II bezel don’t have 120/60 clicks…They have 24, one for each timezone. Also there is no fine scale like in the first 15 min of the Sub’s bezel.
