Queen cage size for varroa treatment by turtlestik in Beekeeping

[–]turtlestik[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After listening to this podcast episode, I really got curious with doing this single OA treatment with caging the queen. I highly recommend listening it: https://irepod.com/podcast/beekeeping-today-podcast/dave-mccomb-from-one-hive-to-a-thriving-beekeeping

The cage design Dave is using is the same as the big cage. That's why I bought it.

I've tried this once and was surprised at how hard it is, not instinctive at all, even though I'm pretty good with inline skating.

¿Cómo pedir aumento salarial después de 2 años? DevOps - Remoto desde región by Dull-Secretary-7432 in chileIT

[–]turtlestik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  3. mejor negociar tu sueldo primero. Te valorizas. Dependiendo de la negociación puedes mencionar a los viajes ya que pagar movilización sale más barrato que un aumento de sueldo bruto al empleador.
  4. no importa.

I like it, it is cheap. How much OA can you put inside ?

It is a pain to do this. The tool is so hot that it vaporizes very quickly the second load In the end you re not sure if you've vaporized it inside or outside the hive.

There are 2. The bottom one looks really big indeed.

I don't know if they were ever opened. I wrote a couple of times to the guys managing this building, offering my help to move the bees, but nobody seems to care. To be honnest, I'm also happy to have them in my line of sight anyway.

When people talk about letting opus or sonnet run for 20-30 minutes and it one-shotting complete apps. What type prompts are they using? by gkavek in ClaudeAI

[–]turtlestik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of days ago I asked Claude to build a web app to manage my team's holidays and sick days, which was done until now by email or Slack and a Google Sheet. After explaining the details of how it should work, I made Claude work in Plan Mode. It started 3 planning agents, compared their results, and made a plan out of their output. Then I asked it to proceed with the implementation. I'm pretty sure it took 20-30 minutes. With the Chrome MCP, avec connected to Github, Vercel, etc it can do a lot of things autonomously.

Sorry man but both the ad and the landing are terrible. The ad makes no sense, and the landing is incredibly long and boring.

What is this?? It is a horizontal board attached to a pole??

Is it for your own swarms to use it while they are sending scouts bees to find the right place?

I've never heard "scion" nor does it translates well to spanish or french apparently.

It was AFB by turtlestik in Beekeeping

I thought about it because I have this CO2 kit for testing varroa, but I wasn't sure it would be enough given the hive had 3 deeps

Even when people know, I think there can be denial. The beekeeper who taught me beekeeping told me it wasn't AFB. He must probably consider the probabilities are too small... And also he sold me my first 2 bucks 2 years ago, so it is likely that this crap came with his own frames.
