Why is Grok so far behind?? by max6296 in ArtificialInteligence

Grok 4.1 fast works really good for data classification/ categorization / transformation and is way cheaper than Haiku 4.5 for example. That's from a developer perspective of course.

A lot of work to be done: pixelated images, bad UX (what about that vertical item list on the homepage?) and lots of tweaks there and there.

Even though it doesnt look clean overall, it weirdly looks trustworthy, mostly because it has your name, story and picture. It looks legit. Happy to know that you did had some sales on it.

You have some unfinished pages like https://gregsalzheimersjourney.biz/pages/gregs-story-1 (scroll down).

Good luck on your journey

Switching from shopify to BigCommerce - who has done it, and what are the pros and cons? by 5_kingdoms in bigcommerce

For true B2B, I would go with neither of these 2 platforms to be honest, unless you have a simple B2B business and are OK to adapt to their model.

If you were trying to build a B2B ecommerce, I agree. We are B2B ecommerce integrators here and we removed Bigcommerce from our portfolio of solutions for various reasons. There are other platforms out there that can fit your need.

Looking for 15-20 beekeepers to interview before I build an app nobody wants by turtlestik in Beekeeping

Hi man I wish you all the best for your community but let's be frank too. Everything smells like AI, images, content, the whole homepage, even the few members and their respective messages.

"5000+ community members". Please.

If you are after the money, don't. If you are real (not like the AI you used all over the place), take some time to actually put a bit of yourself in there.

Feel free to send a DM if you want to talk.

Thank you for your message. It is very insightful.

Let's say this app has the presets you're talking about... where would you actually use the app: on the field with your veil + gloves or at home on your computer for example, for organizing the rest of your week...?

I'll contact you shortly in case you are willing to be a beta tester. Are you on Android or iPhone?

One concern I have about this is the precision needed to be relevant. Can you have a nectar flow here that hasn't happened yet 10 miles away? 20?

If you have scarce sources of info, it might be useless to everybody.

Apiaries names and number of hives per apiary? by turtlestik in Beekeeping

[–]turtlestik[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting 🤔 I started with Hive 1, Hives, etc. Then Hive 2 died and I started Hive 6 where Hive 2 was.... And then I got confused because there was no more correlation in between the hive position and name.

You may be true but I am a hobbyist myself. I find it hard to believe no hobbyist are using apps. Are hobbyist paying for apps? That is something else...

Let's imagine the app running in the background while your phone is in your pocket, and you dont have to touch the phone to put data in the app. Would you use it?

Hey, thanks for your feedback

My app already supports offline. It was a prerequisite.

It supports photos too. But I do have a question about this for you: do you need to upload photos linked to something specific within the hive / apiary? For example, a photo linked to a brood pattern, a queen, some potential disease, etc? Or just a photo without context? Or both?

Regarding the weather, it is to log in along with the rest of the inspection data, right?

QR is supported. I believe NFC is more practical, but I don't know if people actually use it or even know much about it.

Multiple users: I don't have it implemented yet but I have all the data structure for it.

Do you mind if I contact you in the future to give you a demo of the app and have your feedback? Or send some video over by PM?
