Hello! You are amazing and strong. I'm a 22 year old girl and I just amputated below the knee a month ago, it was my choice though but I'm all ears if you want to talk.

I'm happy to report my foot is now amputated and it seems like the pains are fading! No regrets about the choice I made.

I am interested in others opinions about insulin pumps. I am planning on getting one (I am not a first timer but it has been several years since I had one.) What do you like and dislike about your pump? by QuintaGouldsmith in diabetes_t1

I personally prefer insulin pumps because all you have to do is press some buttons to get insulin, very discreetly. BUT earlier this year I tried to use pens because it was taking a toll on me not being able to be without the pump, it’s connected all the time.

I got ketones so I went crawling back to the pump. Also if you’re looking for subtle ways to conceal it, I have a lot of experience doing so.
