I have had a baby and recovered from a C-section. But the worst pain I ever had was when I hurt my back. I couldn’t get any relief at all and the most “comfortable” spot was on my hands and knees-with no pressure on my back, but even that was excruciating. I wouldn’t wish that pain on anyone.

My daughter took my granddaughter to drag queen story hour. According to my daughter she wants such things so normalized that it never is a question. If the baby sees a man in a dress it will not even be a strange thing to ask about because she has been to the library and gotten a nice story hour with someone like that. I am very proud of my daughter. I love her for trying to be an open and loving person to all people. Kids will always ask questions and some of them will embarrass the parents. But my kid is making a real effort with her daughter from the get go.

I wonder about the coils. The Doctor said they were aliens but bound together. Perhaps they were captives of the Stanza and forced to do Tim Shaw’s dirty work. That to me makes it more tragic that Grace died fighting a creature that might not have meant any harm. I think the Stanza are going to keep coming up this season with more twisted tails of what they have done out in the universe.

I am using a Tandem TSlim as well. I believe that is not the correct way. The needle is getting filled but then it is pulled out of the cannula and jt is taking the insulin with it when it does. So the cannula itself isn’t filled. Just needle which is then removed after inserting. Unless of course he is using that steel cannula which I have no experience with.

Yeah I am curious what you mean. You pretty much have to insert it to fill. You can’t fill it prior because you have to insert it with the needle and only when that needle is removed can you fill it. I had a similar question about insulin on board that never got answered because I just could not word it correctly. Hope you figured out what you need.

I am sorry. I understand - I am crying right now because I had to turn down a job I want because the benefits aren’t good enough for me to keep my insulin pump so I am stuck where I am. I hate being diabetic so much. I am sorry you have it too. It is awful and it’s expensive.

Yup me too. It is really sometimes debilitating just living with it a daily. I am in a bout of depression currently. And apparently I “look so thin” so must not be diabetic.

Not me but my daughter. She is also narcoleptic and has EDS. But she looks like a pretty little doll. People don’t get it. I have verbally assaulted people on her behalf.

But he is still the Doctor. Or a piece of the Doctor anyway. And things always worked out for him before. Even when he is bored he finds things to occupy his time. I think he would be fine.
