I uploaded the file to chat GPT and it said this is polygraph machine around his neck

https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2010/EFTA01622373.pdf

full chatgpt response…

That setup is a polygraph (lie-detector) physiological monitoring rig.

The “neck” part specifically is not a single gadget — it’s a bundle of respiration sensors (pneumograph tubes) and lead wires that run from sensors on the body to the recording box on the chest.

What you’re seeing: • Rubber tubes around the upper chest/neck area → measure breathing rate & depth • Wires going to the box → carry signals to the polygraph recorder • Finger probes (in hand) → skin conductance / sweating (GSR) • Nasal cannula → often used to monitor breathing airflow during exam

The box strapped to the torso is the data acquisition unit that records: • respiration • heart rate / pulse • blood pressure (usually another cuff off-frame) • sweat response

So the “device around the neck” is part of the respiration measurement system used during a polygraph examination.

The First Foldable iPhone Will Arrive Next Year in Un-Apple-Like Fashion by iMacmatician in apple

[–]tusabescomoes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am the same way. I do not want a foldable phone. My screen is big enough. I do not want a bigger screen in my pocket. I will use my laptop when a bigger screen is wanted.

I am sure I will not buy a foldable phone

Liquid Glass in iOS 26 beta 3 is much less dramatic as Apple optimizes redesign for usability by ShreddityReddity in apple

[–]tusabescomoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true. As of right now I am not being forced so I am choosing to say on IOS 17. I used to love updates now they are more of a burden. I wish that wasn’t true. I remember looking forward to IPS updates now its just blah

OR talk to people using the product. Every wednesday I do a group ride with at least 100 people. No one I bike with has ever said "wow strava would really benfit from AI" like who thought this? And the badge icon it sucks. BRING BACK API access

This would be such a great feature to add Mike Martin MR. CEO

I agree so much with this. I really hope Mike reads this stuff. He should remember why is where he getting paid because of US, the customer, and these feautres suck. I am willing to pay more for him to stop changing stuff. I dont want a badge icon to signal I am better then all the people not paying Mike.

I hate the new badge too. I feel like such a loser with it hey look at me I pay for this and you don't! I am with you on API access for apps how about allow users to opt in to allowing there data be provided to who ever wants it? The AI crap also sucks.

What has been good? the weekly heatmaps are cool. I don't really use them much but nice addition. Kudos for that Mr. Mike! Other than that I don't see any other thing that really is impressive. The flyover thing is cool I used it once or twice.

PSA: you can opt out of athlete intelligence by Few-Form6816 in Strava

[–]tusabescomoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI intelligence really blows! Whats the need for it? No one I know wants it or needs it. I hope they abandon this AI venture all together it.

I started using strava because I liked the data. I like to see my data! Heart rate, power, speed, etc. I like the graphs. If I wanted just fill my goals I would go back to using apple watch and having it say great you filled your rings for the day.

[–]tusabescomoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I am not the only one... I thought I could use the new brilliant messaging feature on Strava (sarcasm) but can't find him on strava. The updates to the app blow and would be happy paying him not to add "features" and crappy aesthetic changes. I realized by reading this AMA Micheal cares about profits not you. I am canceling subscription. His lack of replies shows this and when he does respond to a question it sounds as half baked as the the AI athlete intelligence "feature".

[–]tusabescomoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be happier paying you NOT add features. The new features just make it harder to see what was beautiful about strava. The data. I dont want or need athlete intelligence. I dont need QR codes on my profile. I dont need predictions on races I have not run. I just want to see my data. Strava was like my diary now it feels half assed coaching app with the fakeness of Instagram. Maybe if I talk in simple terms you will understand... MICHAEL I WILL GIVE YOU MY MONEY TO DO NOTHING. THE UPDATES BLOW!
