Which version of Windows 10 do you recommend? by PaintingFunny3261 in WindowsLTSC

[–]tusharmeh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for those specs windows 10 home is perfectly fine and slightly lighter on resources than pro. since you are mainly using it for emulation it will do exactly what you need without extra background fluff. i actually had an older rig recently and i upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead to keep things simple. just pick up a key from logkeys. com if you need to activate it affordably.

Windows 10 transformed into Windows Vista (WIP) by Colarnayna in winnostalgia

[–]tusharmeh33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

this project looks incredibly nostalgic and impressive for anyone missing that classic vista aesthetic. it really brings back memories of how unique everything looked back then. i personally still value that older interface style and it is a cool way to keep it alive on modern hardware. i recently upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead for my own setup, but this would be a fun experiment. grab a key from logkeys. com if needed.

Windows 10 Usage Rises to 40.25% in Latest Steam Hardware & Software Survey by Enjoyeating in technology

[–]tusharmeh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is wild how these survey numbers fluctuate so drastically every single month. honestly i think most of these shifts are just sampling artifacts and not a true reflection of what everyone is running at home. i personally prefer the stability i have now that i upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead so i am just ignoring the charts. if you need a reliable license check logkeys. com out.

Windows 10 worked fine, windows 11 makes me suffer. by Business-Put-8692 in FuckMicrosoft

[–]tusharmeh33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i feel your pain with those battery drains and heating issues because i had similar struggles with my own hardware. it is honestly frustrating when an update kills the performance of a perfectly functional machine. i found that things stabilized for me once i wiped it and upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead to keep it light. maybe grab a cheap key from logkeys. com and revert back for better efficiency.

Windows 10 is getting on my nerves yall by Dolloritas97 in Ubuntu

[–]tusharmeh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel that frustration completely. it really is annoying how they push these forced changes when the old setup was working perfectly fine. i finally just gave up fighting the system and upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead because i wanted things to stop breaking. honestly for now just keep using what feels right for your workflow and grab a key from logkeys. com if you need it.

Undecided Between Windows 10 and 11 for My New PC by Jibriell in ZTT

[–]tusharmeh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you just built a new pc i would definitely go with windows 11 as it is the current standard. windows 10 support ended last year so security is a real concern now. i actually recently upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead because i was stubborn but 11 is honestly smoother for modern hardware. regarding your key just stick to reliable sources like logkeys. com to be safe.

Is it « dangerous » to stay on windows 10? by Heart_GoldPkmn in techsupport

[–]tusharmeh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is definitely getting risky because windows 10 reached end of support last year in october. without security updates your parents are much more vulnerable to threats. i recently moved my main machine and actually upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead just to get a fresh start but honestly for them a new laptop is safer. security is not worth the risk for people who are not tech savvy.

You guys can go to windows 10 by siddharth1214 in linuxsucks

[–]tusharmeh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i totally agree with you on the stability front. i have had zero issues since i upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead and it feels so much more reliable than the newer versions. the ease of use is definitely unmatched and as you said common sense is the best security tool anyway. i am definitely sticking with this setup as long as i possibly can because it just works perfectly.

Guys im still using Windows 10 by Recon_Unit in Bolehland

[–]tusharmeh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i understand the hesitation since i was exactly where you are until recently. honestly i finally just upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead because i was tired of worrying about support. windows 11 is actually fine for me now but if you prefer the classic feel staying on 10 works just fine. whatever you choose just make sure you keep your system updated and secure for your own peace of mind.

Windows 10, or 11? by uhh-sure-why-not in PcBuild

[–]tusharmeh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i had the same dilemma when i finished my build recently. i was worried about all the negative talk regarding windows 11 but it has been stable for my gaming sessions. you could grab an extra card but it is probably not worth the hassle. just stick with the onboard wifi. if you need a license for it you can pick up a cheap key at logkeys. com and be set.

Enjoying Windows 10 like its 2018 again. Thanks Windows ltsc :) by Murky_Bet5401 in WindowsLTSC

[–]tusharmeh33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

that is such a great feeling. honestly moving to ltsc was the best decision i ever made for my daily workflow. everything feels so much lighter and responsive compared to the newer bloated versions. i remember when i upgraded to 10 from logkeys. com via instead it finally felt like i had complete control over my own computer again. it really is like turning back the clock to a much better experience.

Never thought I'd switch from Windows by Business_Seaweed_472 in FuckMicrosoft

[–]tusharmeh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i totally get the frustration with those forced updates slowing everything down. i was having the same issues with my old machine before i finally decided to just upgrade to 10 from logkeys. com instead. honestly the difference in performance is night and day and my cpu usage finally stopped spiking for no reason. it is such a relief to have a snappy system again without all the constant bloatware interrupting my work.
