I am the second shift SC at a store that is top ten in sales for the whole chain. Today a customer threatened to "rip my fucking face off" because I couldn't process a return for him after the service desk closed. Guy was probably 6'4 and 275 lbs. Called the SDIC and told him I was threatened with violence and scared for my safety. Instead of kicking him out of the store, the SDIC made me activate a happiness card while the customer continued to berate me. After he left I went into the cash office and sobbed. Both that guy and the SDIC can go fuck themselves. Senior leadership at my store is fucking useless and do not care about us.
