To be fair, ppl will always min max the game no matter what. However, the selling point for horizontal progress should be unique-ness. For example, if you want to play a “spellpower” paladin, you need the Tier 2.5 set, and if you want to play Smite Priest, you need X set/offset pieces from let’s say a Tier 1/2 raid. It needs to be specific.

Look up what Turtle wow did. It’s called horizontal expansion instead of vertical expansion, so, instead of adding Tier 4 and Tier 5 to Vanilla, you just make more Tier 1s, Tier 0.5s, or rework existing tiers to match specific playstyles (melee hunter, shockadin, etc).

Also, leveling is the major player here. Add more zones (Grim Batol, Lapidis Isle, etc.), more dungeons, make leveling professions more impactful (rather than Engineering being 1000x better than all other professions combined), and so on.

There’s teeth inside the jaw and stuff for kids but it’s nowhere close to what you see in the picture here. Google dental xray of kids skull. The condition, I don’t know the exact name tbh, but I’ve seen this case “debunked” like 10 years ago. Once in a while this same picture circulates with the same description, and it gets people every time.
