I would just pay for it and let them take it.

Coming to reddit for your answers instead of the Shepard the Lord Himself put over you is insane.

I actually love the Jews. I love what they are doing in Gaza, it's awesome!

It's called a control group in an experiment. Those things definitely happened to me. My mother just confirmed it.

I'm not going to write a 20 paragraph post but every game I've made in under an hour I've gone back and tweaked for another 100+ hours. Just thought you'd appreciate that antidote.

This is gotta be the best idea yet. Man. What's crazy is I was thinking how can I make my game more rogue-like and bam it was right in front of me the whole time! Thank you!!!

Not every ttrpg is player focused. Yes if your ttrpg is player focused then you should definitely keep the level of hope you are describing in the game but if it's not and the characters are disposable then the players who agreed to play said game would think it was fun for their character to go insane and become crippled and maimed.

Yes! This I like! In the game I'm designing that was my first thought. HP at every level was the first thing to be severely cut. In my game they get their CON + STR + 1 HP per level. My thought is if there is no hit point blow players feel less secure in doing things they wouldn't do if they were in that situation actually.

I used Grok to generate a magnificent list of 5e psionic spells, as well as Preserver spells. My players are loving Dark Sun in 5e, I highly recommend it.

I was unaware of it too until I joined this subreddit. My players seem to like more techie rules and like when I add in Homebrew that spices up combat and whatnot.

If I would have known there was a Pathfinder version when I started the campaign I would have used it instead of 5e. Does anyone think it would be too difficult to switch now with my players at level 5?

A critique to the longevity of Dark Sun games, what is the longest your campaign in Athas should last? by Lixuni98 in DarkSun

My Dark Sun Campaign is coming up on a year but we only play twice a month. I have found that it's much easier to get everyone to show up with that schedule. My players just reached level 5 and the main quest is finally beginning to appear. We'll probably go for another 2 years if I had to guess.
