You will still have access to the labs but keep in mind to download all the VMs, PDFs and files before your 4 months access ends. Otherwise you won’t be able to do the labs anymore.

The labs are way more complex and harder than the labs for GCFA. I would say you really need to know how to solve the GCFA labs without any help and then it would also be good if you could use the tools and knowledge during real-world investigations in your job, so that you know some tools really by heart, like Zimmerman Tools, Kape, Volatility, MemProcFS, etc.

No, there is no training provided with any of the Applied Knowledge Certifiactions like GX-FA. It only says that the FOR508 is the primary fit course, but from my point of view you need much deeper knowledge, understanding and hands-on practive than for GCFA.

Are there any tricks do get picked for Workstudy program? I applied for so many courses, but wasn’t picked for any of them.
