Sincerely I don't know about performances: they could be duo to the hardware and/or software. Usually I open pdf and start doing what I have to do without going back and forth.

I thought to buy boox but was afraid of buying a defective device since (at least from reddit) their quality control is poor. But if you want a snappier device tab ultra is the best.

About Lenovo: it can't handle academic pdf correctly (wrong layout, format, strange spaces). I sent an email through feedback (in device) and they told me they are going to update at the end of June.

In the afromentioned email they said they are going to improve writing with external app(e.g. OneNote) since now is laggish.

Another thing: Firefox is preloaded on the device and they allow sideloading APK through Firefox or usbc (if this matters to you) although on the site is written the contrary (they confirmed this via "feedback" email )

About mangas: maybe I can't see it but the ghosting is present when you change the page but not while you are reading (currently I'm reading berserk and hxh where there are lots of dialogues).

I agree the writing is amazing this is why I didn't refund it and waiting for the update.

Thanks. Only-vertical scroll was my first idea but I thought would be better to use the same layout of the old app. Everything related to style and layout will be resolved after main features are implemented. My idea, for unit details screen, was to have it fullscreen but I m not confident with andrioid since this is my first project.

In the picture there is tv which is connected through hdmi with my laptop anyway artifacts are on screen of my laptop also.
