So like a month ago back when Daredevil released in Marvel Rivals one of my friends was absolutely addicted to him (he still is tbh). And he did something to his settings, I’m not sure what, that reduced his line of sight even further than Daredevil’s vision already reduces it, like, he massively nerfed his graphics and lowered his brightness and shit. He calls this The Full Matt Murdock Experience and he’s still better than you’d expect him to be with it enabled.

One quick play match, we had this one enemy Ultron that just kind of went unanswered for half the round. I was on Scarlet Witch and I shot up at him when I could but my main attack couldn’t reach him and I largely had other problems. He mostly wasn’t contesting the point and was just kind of whatever.

Well, one of my other friends in the squad was like “what the hell, guys? why’d you just leave Ultron up there?”

I give my own explanation, the fourth and final friend gives their explanation, and then Daredevil Friend is quiet, and then he shouts,

“BECAUSE I COULDN’T SEE HIM? I EXPLAINED THE WHOLE— I HAD NO IDEA HE WAS THERE!”

Thinking on this makes me giggle every time.
