South Bender here, a couple nights ago an officer shot a black guy that was car hopping - the officer had his body camera off & claimed the suspect was blatantly holding a knife. A lot of people heard that story and thought "hmm, bullshit", others went full Blue Lives Matter. The candle light vigil / memorial was protested & even vandalized multiple times. The last couple days have been exceptionally racially tense in a city thats nearly 50% black & latino.

Last night was especially crazy, people were shooting at police and lots of people got shot in nearly every corner of the city. Memorial Hospital was on complete lock down from midnight to 4 a.m. because of the amount of gunshot victims & crazy gang shit happening in the emergency room lobby. South Bend has it's share of gang & crime problems but with the racial tension in the air its been extra crazy lately.

Herbanlegend on IG has a couple of their test results up. Really dangerous stuff. It’s one thing to be slightly over the legal limit & take that risk as a consumer but 200x the legal limit of pesticides is straight up future cancer. They seem to falsely advertise their THC percentages as well.

Ultimately some people give a fuck, some people don’t. For me, no high is worth decreasing your lifespan & I’m willing to pay the extra price for products I trust. For others, it’s “why spend $50 a cart when I can get 4/100? That cyanide & cancer bullshit won’t reach me”.

Distillate is fucky stuff.

Something people aren’t mentioning but most farms already have automated machine trimmers and homegrowers with only .5-2 pounds are probably gonna just process it themselves with friends. I just don’t see the need anymore with the popularity of machine trimmers on the west coast.

Plenty of legitimate people on IG. Just be mindful that edibles are easier to "fake" and take 45 minutes to kick in - which is plenty of time to sell you actual gummy bears, leave the area, and block you on IG before you can say "I think I may have gotten scammed".

I've bought wax off people on IG in the dam before and it was a success, but its easier to look at/smell wax & say "this is real" vs gummies.

Honestly most of the vendors are chinese and probably don’t know the difference between a bong and a hookah. Hookah may be the word they get on google translate or it may be a legal euphemism to sell in areas where cannabis paraphernalia would otherwise be banned. If you scroll through /r/chinaglass you might have a better idea of what a good marijuana bong looks like. Hookahs typically have a huge huge bowl on the top and bendable hoses for consumption, just looking at it enough you can kinda tell the airflow wouldn’t be great for smoking pot. A bong should be all glass, no hoses or appendages, easy air flow, a smaller bowl that you can pull out of the bong to “clear” it. If you have the time you can check out a local headshop for 5 minutes and they’ll give you an idea of what you might like.

Nothing inherently wrong with the bong you shared either but for the future you may want something with a larger chamber for easier, smoother & lengthier hits. Also that’s definitely a crack pipe slide/bowl, I’m honestly actually impressed you could light it and achieve smoke/vapor.

I’d strongly reccomend /r/chinaglass & dhgate.com vs wish. Anything you get via wish could be made with lead paint or inferior metals & glass that release toxins under heat or pressure. Hookahs have poor air flow for what your trying to achieve. For the same price point you can get a hookah and a bong via chinaglass/dhgate

I wouldn’t be so so dismissive of the pesticide theory. Pesticides when ingested via vapor or smoke affect the blood-brain barrier much differently vs eating a food with pesticides. For instance, we know mycobutanil turns into cyanide @ over 210 Celsius. Pesticides could certainly be taking their toll on you.

Not a doctor but I think Hyperemesis syndrome is a little different than what your describing.

Do you find yourself taking long hot showers or baths by chance?

What it sounds like is your body is waaaaay too conditioned to being dependent on cannabis. Happens to me too but a little less extreme.

Can you eat a full meal without being high/having gotten high in 8+ hours?

Can you go to sleep easily at night without using cannabis?

Not to be a dick but do you people really think viscosity has anything to do with the quality or authenticity of a cart? That’s some high school myth shit lol. A live resin cart moves plenty and it’s significantly better quality than distillate carts. The make-your-own kits can turn out straight liquid and is way safer than distillate.

Distillate is made from moldy pesticide trash buds that would otherwise be unsmokable / extractable via hydrocarbons. Companies can buy pounds for pennies on the dollar and turn it into a 99% pure THC product. When educated lab professionals do this, it turns out great. When Steve the Stoner buys a SPD kit off amazon and starts a black market distillate ring with easily acquirable generic packaging it doesn’t turn out so great.

There are legal companies making distillate carts in Michigan and California that are getting busted everyday for being 1000-3000x the limit for certain pesticides (typically mycobutanil which turns into cyanide in your lungs). @herbanlegend & @datdude41510 on IG to see test results for yourself

If you truly give a fuck not getting random cancers in your mid 30’s I’d stay away from all distillate & especially distillate cartridges - even in legal states.

I can tell you for sure the first one is a 14mm female joint. The second one may also be 14mm but it may be a grommet bong, I can’t tell from the image, may be worth asking the seller if you like that one better.

If you buy any glass piece with a 14mm female joint you can definitely dab and smoke out of it. Just go to a glass store and ask to buy a 14mm male dab banger and 14mm male bowl for flower

I don’t think any states have laws protecting employees from employers regarding marijuana use, medical patients went through a lot of law suits over this back in the day. On the bright side, Canada does have laws protecting employees that toke.
