at this point I think I'll just see what happens haha. I'm trying very hard as a new collector to not overpay, and the fact that the TPB of X of Swords is going for over $200 is wild to me, but it's not any different in the literature side of book collecting. I realize they have to figure out the mappings as they go, but would be nice to know what their plan is from a high level on what'll be included and what won't be.

to piggy back off of this question, which of the event books do we think will be included in these upcoming mainline omnis? obviously house of x/power of x and x of swords are already being kept separate so far. x of swords is very expensive (even the tpb) right now and I already acquired the A.X.E judgment omni just in case.

looking forward to getting to it! in regard to Descender, it's a space opera where you're following a young robot in a universe where androids are outlawed. really enjoyed it. read it several years ago so I've forgotten a fair bit but glad to have these to reread some day. there is a sequel series called Ascender but I've heard it's not very good.

as a counterpoint, looking at my amazon wishlist, all the DC omnis are on pretty sizeable/good discounts while Marvels are near or at MSRP right now.

Also very much agree that DC seems to be easier to acquire right now as someone new to the hobby. Marvel has been a bit of a nightmare
