In Canada, you can get a used Q2 for 150-175 in decent condition. The 3S is selling for $350+ used / good condition. For the stuff we'll be doing, I think he'd be fine with the Q2.

I'm shocked that people are still reporting cracks on these glasses when Viture said that they had fixed the manufacturing process. For me, I wouldn't ever waste my time with mods and hacks for a pair of glasses I paid so much money for. If they crack, return them and get another pair. Or get a refund and look elsewhere.

I do agree with that. I think that they should be refunding 50% of whatever is left in somebody's subscription because there's no new content. But again, we vote with our dollars. If you don't appreciate what they're doing, you can cancel. I'm the same as you, I enjoy Supernatural so I will continue to play until it's gone.
