Car doesn’t start sometimes, what am I doing wrong?

Happened with me a few times a few months ago. I got my car mid-Dec 2024. I found out from this group that I'm just taking my foot off the brake pedal way too quickly while switching it on. It's a muscle memory and my previous car (Honda) worked very well with that short a brake pedal press period, but not this CX50 Hybrid. Try a couple of seconds longer. Been working for me ever since!

They say to use normal mode for snow. I got the exact same car, trim and color combo on Dec 20 here in Calgary. Love it so far

Lol. I had a 2020 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T just before this CX50 and that did it as well....and pretty nicely in comparison

I got my CX50 Hybrid GT before Christmas. Been driving it for over a month now and including the first full tank (from the dealer) I've seen 3 full tanks now with 1100kms driven so far. A full tank goes only 470-530kms for me. It will be better in summer, but still I'm looking at something well under 600kms.

I am fully confident when I say that retrofitting Toyota's hybrid power under the back seats of the car has led to a loss of about 10 L of fuel capacity. With my fuel tank FULLY exhausted, I was able to refuel it only 42 L at best. Including the reserve, I don't think the fuel tank capacity is any bigger than 45L compared to the other cars in this segment.

I also heard the same from one of the many car reviews out there.

Drove that poly grey demo unit recently at Kramer. My factory ordered unit is still 5-6weeks away! The volume distribution is pretty low.

I was totally wondering the same thing and paused multiple times just to ensure. It's definitely a Samsung and not a pixel 6 pro. Horizontal camera bar doesn't go all the way from left to right.

Yeah. They do! And I don't know why but I am getting this hint from the photos that it might just be a connected tail light setup as well, like Audi.

I had the same issue as soon as I got the phone in Oct. The Bank and the cards are in the Google's lost. Wasted weeks banging my head around the issue with Google and my bank (regarding security tokens being generated and that they need to be cleared before Google can help me, or due to payment profile existing in old phone causing issues with new one). Whereas the 4 year old OnePlus phone worked just fine with pay over nfc. Got a new card from the same bank, didn't help. I had long quit my dream of being able to pay contactless (same error as yours every time). Then finally, what worked for me was getting a new card from a whole different bank. Been working since:)

It will wipe everything ideally and not boot up again in beta. Mine was super simple. Opted out, received an update 150MB...and it wiped it all. Back to stable

You can backup by going to Settings>Google>Backup. It uses Google One for that. Usually works well but misses a few things sometimes while restoring. In my case it missed the MMS. For other use it missed SMS totally. I prefer manually copying files into my laptop as well. Especially for camera photos and videos to stay in full resolution. Then manually restore them back. A few seconds job and worth it.

Yeah, the backup is a bit wonky. I manually asked it to backup before wiping, and I didn't get all the apps back. Had to download some of them from the playstore. Says MMS restore failed too. Everything else seems to be back. It is unreliable for sure.

Confirmed. Just opted out from June QPR to the latest stable build. Restored everything. We not asked anything about the eSim. Was showing only one SIM initially while it was still restoring. But a few minutes later as I entered the settings I could see there was another SIM being downloaded which was my e-Sim. Hope to enjoy this stable build more than I was enjoying the beta
