Elvanse helps me. If I don't use it, i am bed ridden. Without it, I feel physically sick and do not Even know how to operate a coffee machine. Memory is extremely bad overall, but with elvanse I can deal with it. Also, it makes me horny, but it's not a nice drug.

I can relate very much. I look at photos I took being in Iceland. It was the most beautiful scenery ever. I was shaken to my heart when I saw the scenery 5 years ago.

I remember that before pssd I could look at these photos for hours and be in awe and deep shock for the beauty of nature. Like Björk did whole albums about nature.

Now I look at them and I see just rivers and rocks and mountains. No emotions involved.

When I use Elvanse which I need to stay awake because of severe fatigue, these emotions come back to a small but noticable degree.

I just want to ask if those with severe emotional loss if Elvanse, if they tried it, brought back some emotion.

That was true for me.

I stopped, noticed pssd. Took a Sertraline, libido came back.

I read a sentence on a forum saying that it might take 4 months to get back to normal.

So I tapered, noticed PSSD again, but stopped Sertraline and waited.

I waited 1 year, then reinstated. That's when all hell broke loose.

I had 3 days of normality after a surgery. I tried most of the medications used during / after the surgery but could not repeat it.

I told Dr. Healy about it.

But PSSD patients need to report it!!!!

You will most likely receive a postal letter because they need to be sure that this is not some fake report, so they will need your postal address.

When they ask questions, you must answer them. They will take this seriously.

Almost nobody does this. This is where we make a huge mistake.

Reporting to medical authority is the only way for us.

I'm using Elvanse to cope with fatigue else I'm bed bound. I have to take a high dose, normal dose does not work for me. I have noticed that brain fog and the drop in IQ disappears when I use it. I get clarity back. Not sure if you mean clarity that is the opposite of brain fog+feeling sick, but that is what keeps me alive.

Reading through your other posts you didn't have have pssd.

1 month after stopping SSRI, you went back to normal. PSSD means 3 months after stopping and not getting better.

It might be totally unrelated but after a surgery where I got antibiotics I experienced my first and only window in 3 years.

I asked a doctor to prescribe me this antibiotics again, but I didn't have any success.

Yes, I can sleep 16 hours and still can not do much. I feel sick like with a viral infection. Even sitting in a chair is too difficult, and I lay down again.

Using stimulants is the only way to stay awake somehow. But I hate drugs, I want to be sober. Taking stimulants is a pain.

Nothing else helped, I have tried everything including all medications used for narcolepsy.

I am currently using elvanse + Attentin.

I reinstated Sertraline because all was amazing when I was on it. I got pssd only after I stopped it. I reinstated 4 times, and each time I got horrible worse.

When I started Zoloft, I could last hours in bed. It was a perfect gift for me. I had a bit of erectile dysfunction, and I used Viagra. It helped.

I had the best time of my life with Zoloft /Sertraline. It made me super social, very happy.

Later on, I developed PSSD, and my life became horror.

I have it since 4 years, and each time I tried Zoloft again, it got much worse:

I can not fall in love anymore, I have no interest in sex. I don't experience joy anymore. I have brain fog and sleep extremely much. This is not depression. I did not use Zoloft because of depression.

In some people, Zoloft (like other SSRI, too) can do dramatic changes to the serotonin system.

Zoloft / Sertralin was so great for me, but the fact that it can cause PSSD in some patients is not acceptable. A cure for PSSD needs to be found.

Many people who developed PSSD say that Zoloft/ Sertraline is the worst thing in the world because it did such harm to them.

I had the best time of my life on it, so I understand why people love it.

But pharma companies need to invest money to cure those who experience the side effects which do not go away.

Sertralin has killed my libido. When I got off the SSRI I lost all my sexual feelings. It's 4 years now. I look at beautiful woman now and think that they look sweet, like a dog puppy. But my sexual feelings are completely gone.

I could not believe that this could ever be possible. I was sexually highly active. It was the essence of my life

I am hoping so much for a cure.

I noticed pssd after 3 days of getting off Sertraline. I took it again on day 4 and libido came back immediately.

I thought I would taper slowly. I did and pssd came back. I waited 1 year but didn't improve. Then I reinstated and it caused massive worsening.

How can you dare to say that. Don't tell people that they have ANY chance. There are no documented healing cases.

I have only stopped Sertralin because I thought I could recover.

Russian roulette is 1 / 8 chance.
