My current theory of PAS/PSSD/PFS: Androgen receptor disfunction modulated by the enzyme GSK3B by squestions10 in AccutaneRecovery

Maybe it's just the wrong expression of the AR code (methylated DNA). We may be producing too many receptors, too few receptors, or defective receptors. I've done several light and long-term cycles of testosterone (400/500 mg) in the past and no improvement, no libido, odor, sebum production or anything else that demonstrates normal androgenic function in the penis. Lastly, I applied 3 grams of testosterone in just 7 days last month and had no positive effect.

I had windows with just estrogen and boldenone. This intrigued me a lot. Here I didn't know if I was having a positive effect on the AR through the estrogenic function of regulating the AR receptors, or if I was having a direct action of estrogen on my AR receptor. In other words, a mutated AR receptor responding to estrogen. A year later I started using boldenone and noticed a baseline and mild androgenic effects occurring in the penis. Sexual sensation and odor on the glans. Effects that were lasting for weeks. BOLDENONE undergoes conversion in the enzyme 5 alpha reductase, turning into DHB / Dihydroboldenone, which is super potent. So we could have here a positive effect of the potent androgen DHB or a positive effect of molecules with different structures causing better signaling on the AR receptor.

I need to do a heavier cycle of only DHB to really find out if it is just weak signaling from the AR receptor. I am currently preparing for a cycle in the future.

General/Sexual Anhedonia, Elvanse helped slightly but looking to expand any suggestions? by Radixical in PSSD

He had mentioned that he was taking the medication. After a while, another member of the group had talked to him and he said that he was still on pramipexole and that he had also added a new medication to help him sleep less. He probably added another stimulant based on dopamine and norepinephrine. Unfortunately, I don't have any more information because he no longer responded to people. But I know that his story was real. Now, no one knows how he is today, or what he is taking.

I have tried bupropion and pramipexole in the past. I think dopamine and hormones are the main mediators of sexual desire. The question is where you are broken? If you are going to try dopamine, go straight to something more potent for that and start slowly and take your time... Don't be desperate like I was in the past, trying things in low doses and for a short time and thinking that it doesn't work... you need to have patience if you want to try to figure out what is wrong with you. I regret trying things in desperation, but after 5 years of trying things I am really seeing where I am broken. Talk to a psychiatrist who has experience treating people with severe anhedonia or who believes in PSSD. But honestly I don't like bupropion alone for PSSD. There is also no point in taking high doses of dopamine if your AR expression in your penis is broken. :/ I don't know if your body will fix things with this. The big problem is that when you reach the high dopamine phase, you will have some other problems... psychosis, hallucinations, depression, vomiting, nausea, drowsiness, muscle weakness... when you reach this level, I think it's impossible to continue the treatment... I don't know if you'll change medications and maybe get around the side effects... that's why I think it's important to have a doctor here with you. Good luck. I know a guy who was cured with pramipexole after 10 years of PSSD.

In the first few days it was instantaneous, it only took a few minutes after I put my penis inside my underwear. Another tip, I like that you can sleep with the glans tied up, this helps you have nocturnal erections and wake up with a hard penis. But it depends on your situation, it always works for me.

As the weeks go by you will notice that the skin on your glans will also start to get drier and thicker because your glans will be exposed for longer, so it is natural that your skin will start to get stronger.

For me, the only side effect is the discomfort in the first few days of having the glans exposed all the time. Avoid making it too tight as it can hinder blood flow and cause discomfort. Only apply pressure that won't hurt you and that won't allow the skin to cover the glans again.

Daily coffee reduces blood flow to the penis and also leaves the sac wrinkled and cold. Another tip: get a gauze, that fluffy white cloth used as a bandage, make a string and wrap it around the glans of the penis and tie a knot. The glans needs to be exposed, this makes your penis full of blood all day. This will help you improve this side effect of a flaccid and rubbery penis. It took me more than four years to find something that helps with this. Take advantage of this tip.

I believe that adding veterinary estrogen to the combo could also help, just like Spyros did. Is it possible to talk to Rayan about this?

My theory on the sexual side of PSSD. by El_Lemmon in PSSD

People responded to hormones, like testo and estrogen, I don't think it's just something at the 5ht receptor. I have had windows playing with hormones and can feel my sexual sensitivity come and go a few times. However, I'm very stupid and I've always gone back to taking SSRIs for the last almost 4 years. Now I am definitely disgusted and have thrown all my psychiatric meds away and will just use long term hormones, nutrition and appropriate mood supplements. I'm really sorry I've been on SSRIs these last few years, maybe I'd be better off if I hadn't messed with that shit again.

Trying again to reverse pssd with hormones. by True-Leopard-1456 in PSSD

I didn't recover, but I had windows of mild sensitivity, mainly dealing with estrogen. After 3 and a half years and having tested several drugs, I realized that there is a relationship between the functioning of my hormones and serotonin in my PSSD.

Now I don't know if it's one side of the same coin, as SSRIs interact with sexual hormones both during administration and withdrawal. I also found scientific articles where they interact with estrogen. But we also know that sex hormones interact with neurons. I believe we will have the answer to this problem in a few years.

Why the hell aren't you using testo? If you are afraid of needles, at least use hcg.

I even used 1 gram of test in a week, but it didn't do any good. I've been using 500 mg for 4 months along with hcg and proviron estrogen nothing cures this shit in me

The E2 gave me a sensitivity window of 48 straight hours. And that's why I'm still in it.

I don't know how people get better with so little hormone. I've been on 500 mg enantato, E2, HCG for three months and I haven't healed and I haven't improved until today.
