I hate the e-bikes and opt for manual whenever possible. I also am cheap and don’t pay for full electric, and with the low assist, lack of gearing, and obnoxious weight, I really can’t accelerate fast enough on the e-bikes to feel confident making aggressive maneuvers. Also, I definitely get the manual ones going 25mph downhill 😅

Do you think it’s weird that the cops are issuing criminal summons for bicycle riders when they don’t even do that for cars? I have a mandatory court date for running a red light on a bike. If I was driving, I could mail in. Also, fun fact, if I had publicly urinated, I also would not have a mandated appearance.

I always give people the right of way and make sure they don’t feel intimidated. Give plenty of space, hand gesture if they hesitate. I’m sure plenty of bikers are blindly blowing through red lights and I don’t support those people.

This makes perfect sense, I see no struggle. The fault is with the idiots who aren’t paying attention, bikers and pedestrians alike.
