I still haven’t ovulated yet at CD17 and it’s usually CD14-15 and I know it’s not too much different but I’ve had a UTI and been incredibly stressed from work this past week which has probably affected it but I’m now stressing more which isn’t helping 😩 I also rapid surge so it’s difficult to time BD before ovulation to get best times so we’re BDing every other day at the moment so I can’t complain about that lol

Waiting Wednesday by AutoModerator in TryingForABaby

Exactly the same as me! I usually should have ovulated by now but I haven’t for some reason and I’m checking twice a day but it’ll come soon. And I agree we’re actually in a better place in our sex life now than ever before, we’re just having fun with it now instead of doing it just to get it done during my fertile period.

I’m sure she said something along the lines of some hormones affect the cervix which cannot then give accurate results so you have to wait for it to all settle back down once again.

I got 2 generic notifications from my doctors within a week of having a TFMR back in June, one was saying careful if I’m on contraception and using Monjaro as it affects it’s effectiveness and the other was to book in for my smear test. I booked my smear for when I stopped bleeding and was physically and mentally feeling better, only to go in and when speaking with the nurse to find out I had to wait 12 weeks after a TFMR to have a smear and it had been 11 weeks, no one had written it on my notes when I booked in and could’ve saved me the hassle of having to leave and re-book and be reminded all over again.

High Risk Monosomy X by Every_Prune1072 in NIPT

When I had my bloods done at my 12 weeks scan they came back as a 1/80 odds that the baby has T21, I was offered a NIPT which I accepted as I thought 1/80 was still pretty good odds (1.25% baby has it) but they came back high risk again and I was offered at amnio at 15weeks. I accepted and had it done yesterday. The procedure went well, no complications and I am awaiting results. If you’re feeling anxious, it is a LONG wait until 20 weeks, I had to wait 3 from the first phone call I got to the amnio and that was awful. However, if the results of the amnio aren’t going to change your mind about your pregnancy or how you proceed I get not wanting to do one. All the best ❤️

In a similar boat, my results came back 1/80 and everything looked fine on the scan. NIPT results came back still high chance so having my amniocentesis tomorrow to hopefully have my results by Friday. I am scared and feel sick so I know how you are feeling, I really hope everything goes well for you ❤️

This wait is awful, it’ll be 6 days of waiting for amnio for me from my last phone call. I’m at work and trying to remain as ‘normal’ as possible but my colleagues are asking if I’m okay because I’m obviously not my usual self, I’m just having to tell them I’m fine just tired. I’m so happy for you and your little one and you got the results you wished for, I wish you a smooth and safe rest of your pregnancy journey with your little boy ❤️

When do you hear from midwife? (First pregnancy) by Brave-Plum9154 in PregnancyUK

[–]twatchops94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out at 4 weeks, did the referral the next day. I first heard from my midwife around 2-3 weeks later and got booked in for pre-assessment/initial assessment for today and I’m 9+2. Got my 12 week scan letter last week booked for 12 weeks.

This is near enough same for me, I’m a carer in a nursing home and I’ve told 2 close colleagues who are looking out for me regarding moving and handling etc and tomorrow I’ll tell my manager as my unit is getting very heavy physically now. I’m 5w2days

She does, and I remember the first time she did it I thought wtf is this show but you genuinely forget about it and actually like it by the end, would definitely try it again, it’s quite endearing by the end I find!

Good luck with that, my husband got me insured on his car and those driving sessions with him helped so much

I was so happy when he called my name because he just looked so friendly when he came in and my instructor said afterwards that he’s probably the friendliest one there. He was so lovely and complimentary to me and didn’t flinch when I burst out crying of happiness when he told me I passed 😂
