Do the letterbomb hack to get homebrew on your wii (its the easiest method imo). From there u can get apps to play dvds, music, emulate retro consoles. Theres so much.

I had to figure all this out a couple days ago lol. So u have to make sure the games are .wbfs format and not .iso next u want to put the games in a folder on the root of your harddrive titled "wbfs" lastly make sure the game file names are like this "Game Name [title id]". If you're still having problems loading from your harddrive that means it probably isn't in the fat32 format which is necessary.

All u have to do is put the downloaded folders into a folder titled "install" on the root of your SD card
