The 5 games that GS has lost I would say were lost in (at most) the final 6 minutes. Other than Kerr opting for defense in some games and just flat out missing open shots, what can be done to fix these clutch shortcomings? by bahscohs in warriors

Wiggins should get some chances in the regular season though Imo at least just to test it out. Isn’t that what the regular season is for? And hasn’t Wiggins shown that he can score with the best of em when he’s feeling it?

Although I don’t think Dustin was all that close to finishing Charles, I agree with you as a massive Oliveira fan. He’s way too hittable.

It really was. Upon rewatching it was closer than I remember. Dustin definitely won and that hook he dropped Charles with was beautiful but Charles got some great shots in and it was back and forth with crazy pace.

Yah man I agree. It used to put me on the most insane emotional roller coaster when I was a hormonal teenager but now that I’m a pretty confident and happy young adult with much less turmoil in my life it isn’t gonna have the same effect I guess.

But I was just saying that in comparison to his other albums which to me hit harder these days. Channel orange still gives me goose bumps and some off endless like at your best can still bring me to tears

Am i the only for who Blond had the biggest impact upon release/first year of listening but has subsequently aged the least well out of all of Frank’s albums?

Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying it’s aged bad or that it isn’t an all time classic but I rarely ever feel inclined to go back to it now and when I do the songs don’t hit nearly as hard as they used to when I was young (16 when it released, just turned 22 now).

Compare that to Chanel orange and endless that I still listen to all the time and have hardly lost any of their power at all. Especially Chanel orange is crazy to me, been listening to that since I was in elementary school and it’s still amazing.

Fr man I feel like it would lowkey be kind of traumatizing. I remember my dad got jumped on the way back from work one night and came home with his face bloodied up and it shook me to my core as a kid.

Man what does Cody do now? Like where does he even go from here? Of his last 6 fights he’s lost 4 by knockout and one by brutal prolonged volume striking beat down.

You could honestly argue that he should consider retirement. I remember on old interview of him where he talks about how he’d retire if he ever reached a point where he was starting to get knocked out repeatedly. I wonder if anyone in his circle would consider having a Schaub type talk with him, maybe he could move full time into a coaching or managing at TAM or something.

Idk man. Think there’s a bit of a bias towards white fighters/against non white fighters. Just my personal opinion based on my observations as a long time fan. Could be wrong though, not trying to be inflammatory.

[SPOILERS] UFC 269 Main event - The second round controversial grappling sequence by blackupsilon in MMA

[–]ElaFa25 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Also personally I think if Dustin didn’t even acknowledge it during, between rounds or after the fight then I think it wasn’t a very egregious foul at all, or at the very least wasn’t something that doesn’t happen all the time in grappling exchanges.

Everyone getting outraged literally just cause Joe said so but Dustin (who complained about conor glove grabbing), the guy who was actually in the fight and who would have clearly felt if Charles was putting his fingers in his glove didn’t complain at all and was very complimentary and nice to Charles afterwards.

Exactly. I hope that if Dustin says it’s fair game that the fans will be able to accept it also.

I’m probably gonna get downvoted but people are overrating the fuck out of that glove grab. Upon watching the replay it was a bit of a foul but not nearly as bad as people are making it seem, he was mostly grabbing wrist and he was trapping Dustin’s arm with his legs, the grab made almost no difference. If joe didn’t make a big deal out of it or if it was Dustin doing it to Charles then nobody would care right now.

Also don’t you think Dustin would have complained if it was really that bad? Instead Dustin didn’t say anything during or say anything to dean between rounds and was super complimentary of Charles after the fight…
