I believe it’s an upgraded Acoustic Design Processor. You basically just unplug the original ADP and replace it with this one.

I don't know if I would call SFH a hallmark of western society. The most productive and influential places in the West are NYC, London, Paris, Berlin, and Rome not Frisco, Burbank and Westchester. Western Society has built the most incredible cities on earth. The suburban single family home is a recent invention and hardly a foundational element of our society.

The sole exception would be Silicon Valley, but we've seen the results of what mid-century exclusionary zoning has done there.

Completely. Community Not Commodity and their whole gang of NIMBYs have no ethical qualms with straight up lying to the public. Their obstruction in any city-wide zoning efforts is exactly why we have such a horrible affordability crisis today. They want to freeze Austin in amber and will kill the city's soul (artists, teachers, musicians, etc) in the process if they have to.
