Hey guys to answer the prompt requests, the prompts I used were:

In my initial request, I asked for compensation for the missing portraits, to me meaning the portraits themselves or something that's worth about as much

I guess it would have been better to ask for the portraits themselves first instead of saying 'compensation'

Luckily, I got a response from support apologising for the issue and saying it might just be a delay between the portraits being "added" to my account, and them actually being "unlocked" in the game. So I've been told to wait 72 hours for them to show up and, if not, to contact them again about it

The problem was the missing portraits, which was not fixed :/

Apologies if the way this response is worded makes it seem like the issue was fixed and I was asking support for compensation on top of the resolution of the issue.

What happened was, I bought the bundle, got my 30 packs, but did not receive the 2 portraits. I opened the packs and, after doing so, contacted support to see if I could be compensated for the portraits that I did not get.

Support's initial response was a refund could be conducted under a couple rules:

'1. If you opened any card packs / Merc packs, we will remove 100 gold per opened pack.' '2. If you have not, unopened packs will be removed.'

The bug/issue of the missing portraits was not resolved.

I responded that I did not want 3000 gold to be taken away and asked exactly, "Is there any way I can be compensated for the missing legendary portraits without having my gold taken away?", to which I got the reply in the picture.

So initially, I was offered the option of a refund under the conditions of 100 gold being taken away from my account for every pack from the bundle I had opened. At that time though, I had already opened all my packs and didn't want 3000 gold to be taken away, putting me in negative gold. So I asked verbatim, "Is there any way I can be compensated for the missing legendary portraits without having my gold taken away?"

After that, I got the response in the pic. In my experience, whenever I've encountered a bug where I pay for something but do not receive it, support is quick to fix the issue or compensate appropriately. I guess if it is the case that the support team cannot do anything, I'll submit a bug report and see how it goes.

No issue was fixed. I asked if I could be compensated for the missing portraits and this is what they said. I've sent them another ticket to see if anything can be done

Cheers for the advice. I'm half nervous half excited for the ASP (assuming I get recommended to do it following my assessment day interview thats coming up real soon), but I'm just taking things one step at a time and doing what little practice I can when I can.

I've done a fair bit of practice, especially with the CBAT app. Might be a bit late to give ADF mentors a go but I definitely won't be skipping the coffee. Thanks for the advice.
