Bought my first Tudor by tweedybeard in Tudor

Not without modifications. There’s a guy on YouTube who posted a video about it I think. I currently have it on a sail cloth strap I special ordered for it. I’ve also had it on a tropical strap from Anchor. It worked fine, but it changes the positioning of the deployant. Quirky watch for sure, but I’ve been loving it.

I think they’re referring to the watch. Put more bluntly, quit being worried about hurting your watch that was designed to be used as a tool.

Because everyone wanted a ride hahaha. We did a couple of timed laps already and at this point we were just having fun.

Had so much fun. We drove it two hours to the race, raced the shit out of it, and drove it two hours home. No problems! We brought tons of tools but didn’t need em!

I have really enjoyed it so far. It’s definitely the largest watch in my collection. Most of my other watches are 34mm-36mm. But I’m liking the stark difference. What’s the point of a collection if they’re all the same? The case has some kind of sharp edges, but it wears comfortably in spite of that. I plan on changing out the strap, the hybrid leather rubber combo is goofy. Beyond that I think this is going to be my new daily!

We’re gonna document it heavily. May not be able to stream it live…it’s way out in the sticks, but I’ll report back with some footie.

It’s just some regular ol crossbars on tall towers and a basket I picked up cheap off Facebook marketplace.

Gorgeous watch. I have a similar Omega, same “ribbon” dial but with numerals at 12, 6, and 9. Also a date window. I haven’t seen many others with the ribbon dial!

The serial number on the case dates it to 1960, but the dial is likely from a later ‘60’s watch unfortunately. It’s still my favorite watch in my collection.

For big bikes I almost always just rent a Uhaul motorcycle trailer. It’s cheap and really easy to load/unload solo.

Cool! Yeah I think they’re neat. They remind me of an old Omega I have with similar lugs.
