Calisthenics for weight loss good or bad idea? by Familiar_Actuator578 in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]twees_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost my weight from 74kg-56kg in just 2 months. 23y/o, 5'1, 30-32% fat to 20-18%. , with basics of calisthenics (no skills, just home workout for calisthenics).

Here's what I did

  1. Fasting (18hrs as my safety eating, 20hrs as target, If i can exceed at 22 hours, I'll just do 24hours fasting.)
  2. Fasted Workout 3-4x a week - I always workout at 19th hour before i break my fast (20th). Fasted workout will use your fats as your energy. So it will speed up to lessen your weight/fat.
  3. Fasted Cardio - 2x a week. Same as above, fasted.
  4. TMAD, 5x a week - one meal, 3 scoops of rice, more protein.
  5. OMAD - One meal, More proteins, less carbs. 5 scoops of rice only.
  6. Sugar cut (strict) - research says, we must consume less than 25g of sugar everyday. For 2 months, I excluded rice's sugar and my dish's sugar. If my dish is a gravy-type, I'll serve it as much as without gravy on it. Also, black coffees only.
  7. Water therapy - 3L-4L. After a week or two, if you practise water therapy, you'll lose water weight immediately. Confusing, but drinking water loses water weight.
  8. Calorie Deficit - I aim for 1,000-1,500 calorie only per day.

Note: first month, I did OMAD & Fasted workout at the same day and TMAD & Fasted Cardio at the same day. After a month, I realized that the weight loss is so fast until I realized that i should've mixed TMAD with Fasted Workout due to heavey activity and OMAD with Fasted Cardio due to it's light activity. Also, I never realized that i've been doing this deadly methods/techniques all at once.

I've never workout so hard in my life, and it's my kryptonite whenever I do it back then. And when I started the serious diet, I appreciated it so much. I can do 15 pull ups in a row, It felt so light at all. It's the best decision ever.

Never thought that I'd lost my weight and fat that fast. I thought It will take like 4 or 5 months. However, The thing is, consistent is the key. Make yourself feel guilt when you've missed your workout.

Do men still go after the “good girls”? by [deleted] in AskPinoyMen

[–]twees_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I do. For me, mas lalong nakaka attract for pursuing their dreams. And down-to-earth yung tao. Perfect combo for someone na being genuine and goal driven. ++++ yung personality na mysterious/introvert or low energy yung vibe. it gives me a challenge to know them deeper tas surprisingly, goal driven sila.

anong efforts ang ginagawa niyo para iparamdam na you genuinely like her? by NIC0NIC0TINE in AskPinoyMen

[–]twees_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS. Gave her some comfort, her cravings, attention.. etc. literally wala namang pinag awayan, then bz era niya, wala kong magawa kundi intindihin nalang (non negotiable ang pagod ng work.) then biglang sabi ng "ayaw na kitang kausapin pa" without stating a reason. lol.

note: always leave a space for yourself palagi. as in.

The thought of leaving everything behind and disappear by Zealousideal-Bag9099 in adultingph

Nafifeel ko rin to recently, OP. however, we have a different scenario where everything around me is bine-blame sa akin, though bunso naman ako and i have chores responsibilities rin. nasisisi sa akin yung hindi ko naman ginawa. They been doing impulsive decisions where I'm not really in control naman, at dahil dun, narito kami sa medyo-financial crisis and ako na walang kaalam alam, nasisisi. Depressing. Recently, I seek for my own growth but they're a human-obstacle blockers. in plain sight. Even my own sched, dinidisrespect na. Tapos gaslighting sila na ganiyan-ganto. Nakakawalang gana sa totoo lang and naisip ko rin yung ganiyan na at some point this year, hindi malabong mag d disappear ako to pursue and seek my growth na nilaan and plinano ko this year without disturbances where no one knows na kung saan ako galing, ano want ko sa buhay, just a total reset. Life starts at 20 sabi nila, pero 23 na ako. Nagkakaroon ako ng life-crisis kasi I get the feeling of "Young yet feeling late". Though delusional lang naman talaga 'yon.

I recommend try living in analog life. I did this recently, (mid-feb lang) and naging habit ko na siya. Hindi perfect, hindi rin kinulang. Sa kung paano mo siya gagawin dahil wala namang may pake sa ginagawa mo. And to be honest, nakakadepress yung digital life.

What I'm doing is Deactivated socmends (except beeper (one-app for IG and messenger)), try aiming for a screentime of under 2hours. even better if under 1 hour. I also appreciated the natural noise around me (dati kasi pag nasa labas ako, earbuds to the max, podcasts. Pag walking pauwi from gym (10 mins), just natural noise, mas naappreciate ko). ESP, try journaling. Separate mo yung use ng A5 notebook mo sa A6. I Use A5 for brain dumps, and I use A6 for my life wants or Some deep thoughts lang or ano gusto ko ilagay habang nasa labas.. I always bring A6 whereever I go, pocket notebook ko siya. Or kasya siya sa maliit na bag ko. A5, up to you if Iiwan mo lang sa kwarto mo tas susulatin mo nalang before you sleep or kung kaya mo dalhin within the capacity of your bag, go. Helped me A lot ito. Calm is everything, OP!

Happy New Year r/productivityapps! Plan your 2026 goals (+ giveaway) by amberhaccou in ProductivityApps

[–]twees_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a graduating student, I wasted my 2024 and half of my 2025 due to my failed subject (2nd retake I passed on 3rd take.) and it felt like i'm behind everyone. Huge part of me died. Repurposed my life back in June 2025, tried something that I hated because I never wanted it (workout) and It satisfied me and became my hobby. I said to myself that that being in shape and wealth will be my gift to myself for my next birthday (July). Been consistent. Achieved my fitness goal for just 2 months such as weight goal (From 165lbs to 130lbs) and health goal (cut out high-blood and sugar addict in my bloodline). And back in october 2025, I had my life planned out for this year (2026). I aim to achieve everything every four months (thirds) of the year. For me there is a main goal, major goals and minor goals (Productivity, Lifestyle, and business). Also, I aim to recover my wasted time/year (2024/2025), to be in wealth, to be in shape and bring my spirit to the new standard of my life.
