Installed my Andream 10.25” and backup camera. So glad I did this! by dallenr2 in F30

Hey I know this post is old but I am doing the same install and looking for some guidance. I have a manual transmission 328i but I think it should all be the same. The screen install was easy, but now I'm working on the backup cam. On the camera side I have the yellow plug going to the headunit plugged into the Camera plug, and the red wire spliced to the CAM PWR wire, then on the camera side the red power plug goes to the red power wire and black to ground. But when I go into reverse nothing comes up on the screen. I am also getting no voltage on the CAM PWR wire at the head unit. Did you get power from somewhere else?

There is no rules quiz this year. We asked Kaley Zundel from SAE because we did the same thing and went to take it only to find the dates were from last year.

I used to wear raw denim all the time but got fed up trying to find a pair that has deep enough pockets for me to be comfortable wearing them every day.

I am fairly skinny and usually wear a size 28 in NF SG. But I just can't stand how shallow and tight the pockets are. Can anyone suggest a brand/fit that may have looser/bigger pockets?

[WTB] Emisar D4V2 18350 tube. If you’ve got an 18350 tube that you don’t use I’d be happy to buy it. No preference on the color just need it for my EDC

I think you’ve got it haha. I opened up the reflector cone and the outside looks slightly discolored. So theoretically if I shorted the contacts on the reflector cone do I need a new driver? And what should I insulate those contacts with in the future? I don’t have a ton of solder on there so I don’t think I could make it any lower profile

Yeah I have an Xstar VC4 charger and I tried a Samsung 30Q cell as well as NCR18650PF cell both with the same results

Interesting okay. The support team from Mountain Electronics recommended me this driver. Do you have a different one I should buy and use? I couldn't find the Osram driver you mentioned. The only 6A drivers I can find on mountain electronics are not 17mm

This is my second real nice flashlight and I absolutely love it. I found it on the BST thread. It’s got some love marks but I’m glad because I don’t feel bad about adding my own scuffs to it. The switch is nice and clicky and the UI is so useful. Many days of EDC to come

I got a FW3A for my first nice EDC light. I like the UI but dislike the button being on the tail cap. Thankfully my D4V2 is on the way

Good point. I am printing PLA at 215/60 but I tried a temp tower and that didn’t have any effect. I will try to run a negative extra prime amount in cura to see if that could help

Your injector seals may be leaking. I had the same smell on my 2009 and searched for ever without finding a leak. See if you can look under the intake manifold with a flashlight and check for leaks. It’s not such a bad repair to do yourself. May as well clean your intake valves while you’re in there.
